In part two, Roland offers practical suggestions to help you cast a vision for your son’s future. As a single mom of a thirteen year old male. My son knows the importance of the Lord. However, It’s been hard, specially if fathers are not involved but God has been gracious and merciful. This message is so important and valuable for me. I appreciate you speaking about this. Blessings.

Very hard to raise a son as a single mother . But I have found healing my own inner feminine and masculine energy has enabled me to embody a whole healthy person to him and break the cycle of generational trauma. No more excuse of past mother's n father's absence determining the outcome of the next generation . Everybody needs to heal themselves properly n stop relying on past generations to heal that disempowers you .they didn't have the tools and information available to them then that we do now these days so we can be the ones to break this cycle . hopefully the next generation then learn to love themselves and support eachother more healthily .not defined by their identity of a neglected child of a single mother or father family. We are all whole in Christ as he is our father . I trust his plan for my life and can see all these painful issues have been his perfect way of moulding me into a spiritual warrior .

In a full church, I feel more lonely, than when I was alone.
It is more easy expecting nothing from no one because there is no one, then expecting nothing from no one when there are a 100people around you 😢.
Not to bash my church, but to share the struggles of my heart and ask for prayers ❤

Like somehow, you aren't part of the community as a person, now you're the example, the charity case, that conduit for others to exalt themselves
It's a humiliation and alienation that's impossible to describe. Even worse in communities small enough that the kids hear it 😢

I am not scared of being a single mother financially, but my son suffering and missing his dad. That kills me ! The dad is drug addict so is not this way is not the other way either. Don’t know which way to go. My son is also very very extremely emotional and I don’t. Know what to do he is only 6 with a very big heart full of love !

I feel great about teaching my son right from wrong and why not being a parent to his child is wrong. I also taught him what both myself and his father did wrong to create our family dynamic. I also teach him how to think of fatherhood and do right in planning his life vs. just letting life happen.

My struggle as a single mother of a teenager boy is making him understand that it takes hard work to get to places. He is living his best teenager life but forgets that there’s more than just enjoy his life. He needs to understand decipline and hard work to get what he needs. I’m afraid he will not get his life together because he’s soo used to me doing everything. I nourished him and encourage him to get up and do his things but he’s just like w.e

Stop doing things for him and make him do it himself. Maybe not everything all at once, but start with one skill and make him do it. Once he’s gotten that down, pick something else. I would set boundaries on fun and going out:

My heart delights with this confirmation & truth! I 100% agree that processing loss & forgiving (even if they're not asking for forgiveness) is extremely vital! Thank y'all for opening up humbly with purpose. Please continue supporting single parents as holy spirit leads y'all! The emotional and spiritual support that I receive at my church does wonders!!! When a sister or brother has my back in Christ, I can't tell y'all what a huge relief that is to not feel alone in raising two young boys! I love it! Jesus is the lover of my soul!!! 💖

What a beautiful interview. I am not a single mom myself but I am a mother and was raised by a single mom and I resonated so much with this message on a personal level as a child who grew up w/out a father and having to navigate through that loss, grief, anger and then forgive. It also opened my eyes as a mother of 2boys and 1 girl to be aware of certain aspects in my parenting. Thank you so much for this healing message and I can’t wait to get my hands on the book.

Oh, so unfortunately, I'm here as a mother of 5 married, with an absent but "here" Dad. The reason he's the dad he is, is because he can and does fall back on me as a mom. I want him to step up more and lead but I can't force him. It's the biggest devastation having the hope of help but not receiving it.

except for a model minority, ask 10 random American fathers:
Who is your child's doctor or dentist?
What is the name of your child's school principal or even their teacher?
