Stefan, what timing! I have about 25 minutes before I am talking to my friend in Denmark, and wondering what to do… voila! Perfect timing. Perfect demonstration. Amazing creativity with your playing. It always makes me smile. Thank you from Philadelphia 😊
Honored to hear my video was able to fill the space before calling my home country. What a well of coincidences 🤩 Stoked you enjoyed the demonstrations. Means a ton to me ❤️
Yeah, I’m huge fan of Dreadbox. They are awesome at creating effects that both occupy well-known spaces as well as the more otherworldly. And cool to hear that the DEL-mini impressed you. The algorithms sound really great. I especially like Analog mode, but the all sound impressive, especially at that price point
Thank you Stefan for introducing me to my pedal I have played thousands of times! I am talking about the KOMOREBI. Until now I thought the LFO at audio rate was unusable!.....and you showed me how to use it and what an amazing tone it produces indeed!
@@thepedalzone Stefan what can I say? Your video opened Pandora's box for me. I have a hybrid Eurorack/Pedalboard and along with the LFOs, I use an electronic engineers professional tone generator with a tremendous range. I started experimenting and the tones you can get out of the KOMOREBI using the CV inputs are endless and never heard before! I had to put some creative restrictions on the sounds I would choose to transcribe on my production journal... for future use on the songs I write. TO give you and your viewers an idea of how far beyond chorus and flanger sounds you can get with this thing: My creative restriction is, ...I will transcribe only the sounds "that are musical and at the same time invoke a world inhabited by the voices of living beings and/or the sound of their machines" Again thank you sooo much!
Oh the Dreadbox is full of features, I like it. Does it oscillates at the point of screaming and making you deaf? Great demo as always since all these years!
Yeah, it goes far beyond normal chorus conventions. It can feedback at lot, if you want it to, but the amount of feedback also depends on how hot of an input signal you feed it. Happy you enjoyed the demo. Appreciate it 🙏❤️
I dont need more pedals, man. (Im lying) also, i think every dirt pedal needs a clean blend. Also also, that komorebi sounds amazing. I have an i set flanger i use strictly for this slowly undulating resonant that has this haunted vocal quality. I may buy that as a replacement.
Heyo Stefan I am a bass player with a pedalboard real estate problem. Do you have any suggestions for a pedal that does delay as well as modulation? I know about the Crazy Tube Sidekick Jr, but are there any other good options? That Bass War sounds amazing as well, but my small board prohibits me from buying it
If Pedal Zone uploads… I watch.
Thank you for watching. Appreciate it 🥰
@@thepedalzoneno thank you for being an inspiration and showing off pedals I didn’t know I needed!
The end of year round up is an annual treat 🤟🏽🎸❤️
Hey Stefan, thank you for the great demo, tasty playing and amazing sounds. Pretty, pretty nice! Kind regards from the Nobels team
The Nobels Delay is no joke. They also used a chip with a higher fidelity than most digital pedals around.
The sound quality is honestly astounding for a pedal at that price point
Thank you very much and kind regards from the Nobels team
@@nobelsofficial5766 legends, thankyou for nothing but great pedals!
All sound awesome!! Always enjoy just listening to your demos!
Thank you very very much ❤️🙏
Jeeesus, its not just the pedals, its how you use them. Great stuff!
Thank you very very much!
Could listen to your playing for ever. It's beautiful in that tuning ( DADGAD). It has a nostalgic mood to it.
ordered the Nobels delay!
Awesome!
Thank you very much and kind regards from the Nobels team

I have the entire Dreadbox pedal line and they're all astounding. The Del-mini might be the best sounding tape delay I've ever heard

Stefan, every video of yours is proof of the fact that music is made not by pedals, but by people. ANY pedal sounds great in your hands.
Great playing, start to finish, Stefan. The Bass War section was absolutely amazing - best example of using this pedal I've heard.
Oh boy! Thank you so much ❤️ Death By Audio pedals are always so much fun to explore. Had a blast with this one 😊
That’s some incredible playing ❤ I would like to ask you how do you record your guitars? Is it DI or amp?
Really surprised by the Nobles delay. That’s now on my list to try out at some point.
I was really surprised by it as well. The 3 algorithms are really good

Honored to hear I was able to give you a new perspective on a pedal you already own. Dreadbox are just so underrated and make incredibly fun pedals.

The Dreadbox is beautiful. I would still love to see your full demo of the Dreadbox Disorder Fuzz. Did you ever finish it?
sounds like repeats trend to left in stereo mode or is that something else in signal chain?
nicely done, dba rules!
Thanks, buddy! And yes, DBA are the best. Always have a lot of fun demoing their gear 🤩

What amp do you use! Love your tone
Actually use amp simulators now. Have done that for the last two years or so. I used a Boss IR-200 as my clean amp emulator in this video

Sweet, I just traded for a Bass war- was recommended for guitar to me
Absolutely massive sounding pedal! It’s a lot of fun 🤩

Rusty strings?
Bass war is the desert island fuzz guitarists refuse to believe is for them.
Totally! It’s an absolutely monstrously awesome fuzz 🤘
