Max Reisinger ok so I live in Southern New Jersey, and they haven’t closed my school yet, more than likely next week. They told us Friday afternoon to take all stuff out of our lockers. Some schools in my county around me have closed and or resorting to online school. My school is a vo-tech school so they provide us with chrome books to take home, so we will do online school like that. For Kids who have no WiFi, our school is offering a free 2 month trial through Comcast. All the states around me, PA, DE, MD have closed ALL schools in the state. Our governor hasn’t yet and feels it isn’t necessary yet. Idk what he’s doing, bc this virus can spread through school! My cousins in Atlanta, have been out for a week now, and are closed for more weeks. Stay safe guys! *UPDATE* they just closed my school until April 20th💀
Max that im living in srilanka and yh just like yours they closed our school on 13th of March to 20th of april its quite long you know more than one month im a bit sad bcz im gonna miss my friends

Watching this in 2023 gives me goosebumps. Seeing everyone so hopeful and optimistic back then, not knowing that it was indeed not going to be ok for many millions of people around the world, and that the day before spring break would be the last time in a high school classroom for many students is just wild. I felt the exact same way back then. If someone had told me what was to come I don't think I would believe them. A crazy life changing pandemic definitely wasn't on my life bingo card.
Yeah, I remember being super optimistic on that day, even more so after hearing the news about schools shutting down (I hated middle school that badly). One thing I remember from that day was literally running up the stairs as fast as I could excitedly yelling out the news during the passing period between 5th and 6th periods. I also remember running inside my apartment after school to tell family the news about my school shutting down with the biggest smile on my face. It feels weird watching this video over 3 years since then. That day feels like a weird dream looking back even though it was real.
POV: It's 2021 and everything is still remote or hybrid and everything is still super uncertain about the school year or about whether or not you will be able to go to school following your normal hybrid schedule.
I remember the 13th of March. All of our teachers gave us tons of homework, considering that it would be just 2 week, everyone was happy, and everyone was putting their books to their bag from the locker, and it was like a heaven. But, 2 weeks became 2 years, and the homeworks that were given is forgotten lol. But i am happy that i started high school face to face.
Still remember March 13 2020 like it was yesterday. It was grade 10. My history teacher went on a huge rant about the coronavirus during last period. My afternoon bus was one hour late that day, so there was me and like 4 other people who decided to wait for the bus (everyone else got drives). Now I can say out of a 1600 student school, I was one of the last 5 remaining there before they shut down everything. Really insane to think about that now. I am a first year university student now
Hi max, I'm writing this because I saw something the other day that reminded me of you, it was a video by sarah schauer and one of the questions they got for a would you rather game was, "Would you rather be 5% more smart or have 5% more charisma," and damn, you're practically the poster kid of charisma. (In the best way of course) I was waiting until you uploaded again to say this and yet again, you amazed me with your video quality. I just wanted to say that I respect the hell out of you. I can't even handle high school as it is, and you somehow manage to run a company and be a great person at the same time, mindboggling. I've gone through school changes and I can't manage to find someone with your inherent idiosyncrasies and your just plain bona fide positivity. I think the world would be a whole lot better of a place if we had more people like you Max. I know you don't know me, but I find myself looking forward to your uploads, it's almost like you're already a friend of mine, and I almost feel lucky to have that. Is that weird to say? I'm sorry that this is a little personal, I would dm you but I I don't really have social media, but if you ever want to email me, feel free, but it's not like I don't already know you, because I feel like I know you pretty well. You're a cool friend to have Max, and anyone would be *lucky* to have you in their life. So, thanks for just being a great guy when the world feels like we're lacking a few of those. Thanks Max. Dude... I wish I went to your high school. I love the vibe and energy from everyone there. I went to high school in DC from 2013-2017.
