Thanks my guy, just what I needed, I have the counterpart, the Suzuki SX4, and I have searched for such a long time on how to get the power through from the bay. If possible could you capture the inside more clearly? I thought the wire got stuck behind the ventilation system in the middle of the car. I would love to get some help, I am using the stock wiring to the rear auxillary plug atm, but it can't take too much power. Love from Norway :)
Hi! I am really happy that I helped you! This was exactly the aim of the video... to show how to take the power from the engine section, back to the driver section. Well, unfortunately, as you have seen, I haven't been that much clear in how to put down cables...this is because accessing this part is really uncomfortable, you cannot even see what are you doing, you have to work only with one hand. I cannot make a video about this, but I can tell you how I did. Let's start from the engine bay. Remove the plastic coverage, you'll see behind the steel plate a 'tissue' like material, from which all the cables are passing thoruhg in particular, there is a hole). First open a small hole with a screwdriver, you need to create a bit of space here to let the cable pass. Then use a quite big and resistent cable, as I did: it has to be stiff enough to not remain stacked into other cables. Push it down, remember to point it towards the down-right direction: I want the cable to go under the pedals. Put it down as much as possible. If you cannot do that with your cable, I recommend you to use a cable pulling probe, those used by electricians. They are rigid enough. At that point, move into the car, driver seat back at all, you have to lie with your back under the pedals. With your arm go from the pedals up to the middle of the steel plate, back with respect to the ventilation system. Find the cable and, eventually, pull it down where you want. Let's say that you really have to find/feel it by hand. Findind all this procedure was the hardest thing at all, but in the end it worked well. Let's say, in my opinion, that if you are stuck back in the ventilation system you are pushing the cable too horizontally....I wanted to go downward. This is because I had to go in the back of the car, so I passed behind the pedals, then back under the lateral coverages. Do you need to do that too? Or want you to remain in the radio region? @@profilo_is_back Thanks, it helped a lot :) I got the cable though and down behind the plastic covers and out the rear to my amplifier. My aftermarket radio already has a powerful amp so it powered my doors speakers alone without a hitch. Now I can finally run my subs at more power, the circuit for the rear aux was shared by alot in the car and the fuse would go at nothing. Great success keep on doing your great videos. This was way more informative than some others about amps on sx4 where people record the engine bay and the battery and by magic the cable is in the back.

Hi! Thank you for the comment! ther's already a 40Amps fuse built-in in the amplifier. To be safer yes, I sould have installed maybe a 30Amps fuse onto the power cabel. Bye!
