Do this work on any DTF printer? I have a Prestige A3+R

Hello, we do not advise the use of feeding foil through the A3+R. The thin nature of the foil may cause a jam and harm the printer. If we see any development in this application we will be sure to share here!

Can you use a DTG Printer *Brother GTX Pro to print these DTFoils's and cure in oven?

Hello with testing the appropriate ink level and using white ink only this should be achievable in theory. We have not performed this to confirm so please let us know if you find success!

Foils are nothing new, they had been in use with laser toners for over a decade now. All you needed was a laser transfer, and any foil would stick to it, just like in screen printing. Then few years back Forever came up with these printable Foils that you can directly print on with laser printers and transfer. It had good washability, and removed extra step of first printing laser transfer, and thrj pressing foil. But it was costly and limited foil effects were available.
I strongly feel this is the same tech, but increasing ubiquity of DTF and a lower cost might see this one become popular.

Very true! We have seen even the foil adhesive screen printed for targeted decorating. With the cost effectiveness of direct to film we may see a resurgence in the foil methods!
