Hey there! Great video! I would also like to add a few things to the stuff that you already mentioned... 1.Definitely agree with the housing advice. If you are living in an expensive apartment, it really is best to just downgrade. Roommates are a great idea if you have the house space. Living with parents is good but may not be an option for everyone for any number of reasons. I have seen people spending thousands in rent per month just to be near "the action" or want entertainment on the weekend or whatever the case may be. If you can get into a cheaper place, look for a cheaper place. Especially if it isn't necessary. 2. Car payments ? What car payments ? Seriously, if you are serious about achieving LL the best thing all together is get out of it all together by buying outright or downgrade to much smaller payments. Something that is not going to set you back, that is good on gas, and is relatively inexpensive to insure. A BMW, Jaguar, Range Rover or Mercedes is not a necessity and are several hundred bucks alone per month, and if they arent covered under warranty, you are screwed in any unexpected repairs which almost always seems to be the case with luxury vehicles. Forget big gas guzzling V8 sports cars as well. Again, those vehicles are not necessities and may even set you back. Public transportation is another option depending on where you are. Forget Uber or Lyft. 3. Definitely agree with ditching fast food and coffee's. Cigarettes too. That includes lotteries, pre-packaged fast food at the store, gaming and any sort of drugs. 4. Cell phone service: The most basic plan you can get to survive. No upgrading phones every year(seriously, does the next generation of Iphone really do anything noteworthy or different than the last generation?). 5. Learn a trade and or skill to move into a higher paying position. There are plenty of careers that are in desperate need of people and actually pay very well and will help you get to your goal quicker as well. They're always in desperate need for truckers and that profession pays very well even just starting out. Sticking around at places like Mcdonald's, Burger King or Taco Bell is never gonna get you to your goal unless your using that as a second job and not a primary job. 6. Start building your credit score NOW. Loans are an excellent and faster way to get to LL, but if your credit score is in the tank, it will only set you back that much more. Pay off bills, pay off credit cards, and start ditching the debt fast. 7. Cable ? Not a chance in hell. Antennas or converter boxes ? Well that's more like it. Basic internet/wifi service. Forget the gaming speeds. 8. Clothes ? Just the basics needed for your job and for home. No more $50 tshirts or $250 shoes especially if you don't need them. These are just some additional ones I thought of.

Great question. So I was doing some wheelchair upper body training during lengthening but during consolidation I was able to crutch around a less-packed gym and did things like upper body. In PT I was able to do some light calf raises during consolidation and eventually squats etc. But depending on how old you are as younger people recover fast and can train much sooner as things just heal faster

Hey bro! Thanks for the info. I actually messaged you a while back about me shortening a femur due to leg length discrepancy and I remember you saying you had the same issue but I think that your femurs are not of equal length and neither are your tibia/fibula’s but altogether they are equal in length. So that you no longer have leg length discrepancy. I was wonder if that had any effect on you physically for example at the gym if having equal leg lengths but differing lengths of the individual parts in exercises such as lunges. Like if it feels weird to have that sort of thing. Reason I’m asking is this doctor who ended up shortening my femur to match the other missed the mark a bit. And now to finish off fixing the rest of the leg length discrepancy I’m thinking of lengthening my tibia/ fibula of the shorter leg to finally have equal leg length and finally hit the gym but though the legs should be equal i too would have slight differing lengths in femurs and tibias. Also looking at costs since this surgery would not be covered as the shortening was since I was close to 2 cm leg length discrepancy. Thanks bro I know I mighta worded this too long.
Depends on where you get it done. Are you in US or Europe or where do you want to get it done? But around $85,000 USD is average is baseline in US and about $65,000 around world
My best advice is there’s a method called LON method in turkey that will only cost you 30,000$ including a 3 months stay in turkey surgery price and plane tickets too and from turkey much less than 75k that’s what I’m saving up for because me saving 70k will take far too long
@@crayonjambe7515 The ilizarov is only an external circular fixator. The LON method combines internal and external fixators (the external can be circular or monolateral) and the process is faster and you get the external fixator off 2 times quicker. Yes I think that's one way of doing it but I think many people can achieve 6cm on the femur with little to no problems. But I do understand for proportion and conservative athleticism sake so it could work. And my regards to you from the United States.
You can do it before LL just gradually as with everything else. Too much too fast can cause excessive tightness that can work against you. Just train hard and stretch and all will be good
Plz, answer me man. If I’m 5’3” (160cm) how tall can I get? Using safe means not radicals...could I be like (165-168)? Please tell me how much can I increase
It is usually safe yes, but to be sure, only a LL surgeon can make sure you are flexible enough to attain. But typically it is what patients do achieve
They do 16cm now? I can't say for sure on the price how various costs add up but I don't think the base price is that low. It is $80k for one so if two looking at around $170k as tibias are more pricey
Why is it that surgeons charge the same amount for 1 inch as 5 or more inches? Shouldn't a less increase in height be cheaper due to a quicker recovery time?
I wish that were the case lol. But we pay for the surgery, device etc. The amount of length is all dependent on the individual's goals therefore it can't be priced. It isn't exactly a fast-food restaurant drive-through..."would you like a small, medium or large coke" 😂

You can definitely workout and regain strength again after the surgery. It will be different and it may take time to adapt but it can happen. As far as high level athletic sports such as team sports where intense agility is required that may take a bit of a hit until you can adapt properly. But lifting would just be healing, rehabbing, rebuilding the muscle and working on the new biomechanics within the few years after surgery. Crazy work ethic is required much more than one thinks
