    Another excellent video! This is great anecdotal evidence for what I believe which is you will benefit from LL even if you are around average height. There is a ton of debate on the LL forum on LL at heights like 5’9” and whether it is beneficial. I believe it is. It may not be as beneficial as lengthening from short (5’5 ish) to becoming average. But if you are below 5’11 to 6’ I think getting an extra 2 to 3 inches is going to still have a massive benefit. I’m 5’9” and in my experience most women would find you significantly more attractive with a couple more inches. Also general perception of tall people is that they are more charismatic, confident and better leaders.
    What do you think Vic? Would LL still provide substantial benefits starting from an average height?

    • @Cyborg4Life
      @Cyborg4Life  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I do. I have spoken to a significant (majority) of patients who were 5'7 --> 5'9 starting and went up 2-3 inches. I think the ones who are over 6ft may not see a tremendous external public response but may still notice it themselves which is what matters at the end of the day

    I'm at 6ft and always thought about limb lengthening on all 8 points to max out size but the biggest concern would be the hands and feet being proportionally small and would it be possible to gain enough muscle mass to fill back out? Would having a proportionally shorter Torso mess up athletic performance? Guess with HGH testosterone and other PEDs, might be able to deal with any of the problems but it would be an issue if you gain 6 inches and can no longer fill out the frame just ending up looking skinny and frail.

      I do. I think medical device companies all are now aware of the opportunity. That will bring in supplemental device and treatment modalities as well. This industry has evergreen demand (people who need discrepancy fixed or those wanting to get taller) and although controversial, that hasn't stopped companies from wanting to make money by solving some aspect of a process for a desired process

I have a friend who is my height - 5'4" who has never struggled dating or with work and socializing but he has to overcompensate majorly with his personality. @@scottsanett I feel great. I was fortunate to not suffer any complications really. I would go through this surgery again without hesitation. I lengthened 6.5cm using a full-weight bearing nail. I didn’t feel 95% or better until about 60 days after I got the nails removed @17 months. I felt around 90% recovered by 12-15 months. There are just so many little things you have to regain….mainly strength. Here’s the deal…As you go through the healing process you’ll believe you’re more recovered than you are. For example I may have thought I was 70% or 80% recovered @6 months because I went from broken legs to slowly running/walking without aids. As I slowly regained my athleticism over the next 6 months (7-12 month mark) I realized I was not 70%-80% healed when I thought was previously. I overestimated it. Does this make sense? This is a common mistake people make when assessing their recovery progress.

      @@rockyroad8442 Thanks - makes perfect sense. I'm planning to do both femur and tibia to lengthen 4 inches in total when the precise full weight-bearing nail comes out. Glad to know that you're doing well!

    I think his age is below 25 which helps him bone healing
    But doesn't he face early consolidation

    I know my question might be a bit strange, I'm just curious if undergoing LL surgery would affect our reproduction? I mean, let's say I want to start a family and hope to have children with my wife. Will this surgery affect it? Thanks

      Nope not really. Epigenetics don't impact it that much

    Wait this guy is saying he’s fully recovered and he still has his nails? This story is absolutely ridiculous

      He’s planning mail removal soon. That’s probably why he dropped back in discord to update. Most fully recovered patients will come back only when they think about it otherwise they’re fully invested in their new life. He can only get better when nails are removed by starting martial arts and parkour

    No way he was walking normally at 5 months after lengthening 8cm with a non-weight bearing nail. This is absurd.

      As mentioned just the messenger here lol. He wrote detailed updates and I just summarized his overall experience for this video. I’ve seen around 5 patients out of several walk in under 5 months with p2 but normally usually was 6 months he just seemed to be an extreme outlier
