I am making this today based off the recipe you have in vid. I did add a little more flour to the dough cause im in a humid area so less water more flour worked great so far. I'll let y'all know how it tastes its in the oven now! So far looking great, did have to swap breast meat for leg meat cause I have too much chicken atm.
Omg it tastes good, but id do a diff crust for mine next time ill figure something out. But aside from me messing up the dough just a little it tastes amazing!

You know this recipe would work well as a steak and mushroom bake(bechamel), a roast pork and green onion bake(Sweet & Spicy sauce), and a shrimp and fish bake (spicy Italian red sauce). I hope you give those ideas a try.

I just tried this out but with shrimp and cheddar, and let me tell you, it is the bomb, and i added some cherry tomatoes to it(since i do t eat pork or read meat) to give it the extra flavor
I woulda threw some crab meat in there with mozzarella and marinara.

TIP: Instead of egg wash on the outside of the uncooked chicken bake... brush on the Ceaser Salad Dressing. This will have a much better stick for the cheese on the outside, and that "gold brown" look will be more effective.

Hahahaha. My mom always packed me rice and fish and veggies every time for lunch when I was young. It was a little embarrassing because every time I microwaved it. It stank up the whole cafeteria! Haha My future kids better appreciate this!

There was some debate in the comments about the crust he used, so I made this using pre-made pizza dough without any other changes and it was amazing. Absolutely wonderful recipe. I had to cook everything a little longer than he listed so make sure you check the temps. My chicken cooked for around 29 minutes, the bacon went for 16, and the bake itself went for 26.

Thank you for the idea. I forgot to season the chicken so boiled it instead. And also I don’t eat swine meat and although I intended to replace it with Turkish sausage. However, ideas were coming in to my head left right and centre. I ended up creating a whole new recipe, starting with lightly frying the boiled chicken bits with diced onions, red and green peppers, diced potatoes. A good amount of black pepper (less salt). A sprinkle of onion powder. And then finished the rest of the recipe with the Caesar dressing and mozzarella. The filling smelt unbelievable. It’s in the oven as I type. Can’t wait to see how it turns out.

The chicken bakes at Costco are good but they sure are dry lol definitely not enough sauce and the chicken is never fresh and juicy lol still yummy to get when you are there though nonthe less

Good Job!! This is more like how Costco use to make them!! I made this and it turned out great, I did use slow baked moist turkey instead of chicken, also used Monterey Jack instead of mozzarella and I I added a little parmesan cheese on top with Monterey Jack. You can also tightly wrap these in foil and freeze for months and they are just as good. The last few I had from Costco were filled far less and dry!

Recipe for the dough is completely different than his finished product that he shows. The dough he makes is a pie-crust dough. The dough shown at the end is closer to a bread or pizza dough sans a leavening agent. Definitely find a different recipe for your dough if you want to make a chicken bake
