@Daily News Portal I do appreciate Sethi Sahab but he does not know the ground reality in India's current common man feeling. At 10:20 he tells Modi's popularity is falling & that's the reason he has done this. Hmm!! Modi's popularity was the reason for huge victory for his in recent elections & many major bills are passed by taking opposition in confidence.
I don't understand why Sethi Sahab has not considered Indian reports or Amith Shah speech or PM Modi's speech or Ladakh's MP speech or Jammu's public opinion or Kashmiri Pandit genocide or BJP's manifesto for decades or awareness created by Shyama Prasad Mukarjee long ago. Unfortunately Sethi sahab has misunderstood Indian point of view in this topic.
Now India's only agenda is development of any part of country which is lagging behind. If Pakistan tries to make it issue Muslim or Islam, then it will only lead to its fall because the region has other Sikhs, Buddhists, Hindus, Jains for long time. Art 370 was took basic rights from women & minority. So no educated Indian can support to it.
Modi has just responded to Majority Indian well thought good step, nothing against anyone.
Its way ahead for development & equal rights for Kashmiri women. Instead they should opportunity to develop entire Kashmir region.

By signing the legal document, known as the Instrument of Accession, on October 26, 1947, Hari Singh, the Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir, agreed that the State would become a part of India.
*Pakistan and China have no locus standi. India needs to reaffirm its title deeds to assert clearly that the whole of Jammu and Kashmir, including areas illegally occupied by Pakistan and China belongs to it.*
So International border is pushed beyond Pakistan occupied area. Its as simple as that Mr. Najam Sethi, so please don't confuse the people.

Before Kashmir, the Nawab of Junagarh has signed the instrument of Accession with Pakistan on 13th September 1947. Sardar Patel and Nehru openly denounced that and ultimately attacked and captured Junagadh. The argument of Nehru was that Junagadh is a Hindu majority state so it should come to India. So if instrument of Accession is the final deed than the same rule should be applied to Junagadh and than Hyderabad Daccan too.

They can't.. The constitution of Kashmir stated that it is an integral part of India that is why our Parliament was able to integrate it through a resolution. On the other hand Pakistan have no official claim over Kashmir neither they signed any treaty with the Maharaja nor they have any legal document stating that Kashmir is theirs.

Very nice analysis but cleverly omitted the History of Pandit and other Hindu Buddhist tribal cleansing in JKL. The BJP came to the power only now but why still there was terrorism in JKL? Why Article 370 (35A) was misused as a tool of Hindu-Buddhist ethnic cleansing?

Mr. Sethi, You should get over this diversion tactic as an explanation. These are big issues, big events. Article 370 or 35a was not just a run-of-the-mill issue that he would interject just to buffer the downslide of a slow stock market. They needed to position themselves before they did this, and they took a fancy time of years to position India in that safe position so they execute it effectively without resistance. Clearly, there is hardly any international response on this one. In fact statement from the US is asking Pakistan to behave themselves.

In the past wars, sometimes one party take a region and the other takes a region from the other country. If as a result of this latest war, what if Modi concentrates on taking Pakistan Occupied Kashmir and he succeeds in capturing this POK, would not that be the cause of the changing of the Imran khan govt pressuring Pakistan into deeper fight . The current economic situation can be worsened and Pak may get bankrupt. Your insight please.
