A new, brutal, awesome culture has been introduced into AoW4 with the "Empires and Ashes" DLC! The Reavers are an aggressive civilization, combining technology and magic for devastating effects. Always like a good Wonders game. Thank you for keeping up such a large diversity of games! I feel like introducing games has become an integral part of the channel over the last few years. The fact you got to do tutorials for age of wonders and showcase these cool dlc is really exciting. I mean shoot imagine that like 4 years ago, it's a great success.

I thought the thumbnail said Brutal Beavers and got excited. Bird people are okay too though I guess.
Beavers would be more fun, but we have the Moles. They are so cool and smug

This new culture seem cool, but i would prefer something "neutral" in looks and mechanics. I was happy that i could make empire, or even multipe ones based on musketeers and tanks. I wanted to make something like Warhammer empire, but only option are aggresive conquiatadors. Wish for new culture mods based on this one.

These seals can be brutal, spawned two armies with total 1400 power and wiped my Ruler

Hmmm is there a "good" or neutral faction with this aesthetic/design. I love the magic + industry, but being locked to Reaver saddens me.
Item Forge at the start of a game? That's so broken. Item forges were last city tier in previous games.

I'm somewhat disappointed with the new culture. Love the asthetic, don't like the mechanics. Oh well, time to try em out and see what can be done with them.
Not only are they fun, with interesting and varied units, but they also push the boundaries of the game to open up new mechanics with the war spoils instead of diplomacy mechanic. It may not be your favorite playstyle, but I think it will set up the game to make your favorite culture ever a little bit easier in the future
Bruh how in the world are you disappointed with the new culture? They're amazingly synergistic and can go super hard in war and aggression. I was 1 v 4ing the Brutal-difficulty AI by like turn 30 and easily holding my own with tier 2 units against tier 3s and 4s.
Because some people want to play with magitech without being forced to be a brutal warmonger that's missing half of its mechanics if you're not 100% aggressive
@@kacperdrabikowski5074 You realize you can still pick the new tomes without playing that specific culture, right? Like, you aren't really limited in that regard except for the cosmetics of the units. You can still do tons of the magitech stuff without going for that culture specifically.
@@richyrich6099 I'm disappointed because I have to play as a 'reaver' if I pick the new culture and if I wanted to play that kind of gamestyle it's only this culture that allows me to. Imho diplomat or reaver should be a choice during race creation. Of all the cultures we have so far only the High culture doesn't really mix well with a reaving playstyle. But only the Reavers can do it and they have to do it.
