This episode ranks near the top of my all-time favorites of the entire series. Feels almost criminal to give some of this insight away for free here on YT. Thanks to Joao and the entire production team behind Tête d'un Pro for a very entertaining hour of content.
That turn shove with A9 was mindblowing. He was so far behind his range. He was behind many of his bluffs too! I don’t know how he could be so sure of his read but it’s certainly inspiring
"Reading poker tells" the title of the book that appears at the beginning. How important it is to observe that in villains in a concentrated and confident way. Joao applies it excellently!
The "inside the mind of a pro" I have enjoyed the most was an early one of João where he is narrating his thoughts in Portuguese. What an absolute treat! I love to be a fly on the wall when he explains his poker thought process. GL João!
he just mindfucked him, he knows he is brazilian, he knows that he 3bet bluffs, so he 4bet because he is looseaggro, flop ofc he bets, turn he picks the gutshot and the bets and dont fold because he feel committed
@17:28 “a pro would not put 5 $100 chips but just a single $500 chip” that’s just reading way too much. I don’t agree. He also said isuldur leaned forward after betting and that usually has a good hand. It’s great that he picks the physical tells but maybe he reads too much into them
Doubles with A-high then goes right on to make a big deal out of 1BB and tells dealer off despite being wrong.. Yeah I don't miss poker much.. Amazed Isildur is still playing after these 15-20 years.. Can't believe I'm back. What a waste of life grinding poker is, but coming from Brazil I guess it's this or join CV lol...

Finally someone that properly goes deep into the hands unlike others like Kanit who only said “I can go both ways”.
I must say Kitai is my personal favorite for in-hand analysis but Joao is a very close second, Mustapha with the fresh supreme always
That A9 hand was incredible
what was that? lol that call the fella crazy.
I like how he makes a big deal out of 1bb after doubling with a hero A high play..

Finally an actual “pro” !
Him and Adrian are soo far ahead of the others bits really no contest
True, but Kitai has 10+ million, he is not as good, but he is a very solid pro, with much experience and a very interesting style
this video is wonderful. Thank you.
yessss thats what we want 🎉

he just mindfucked him, he knows he is brazilian, he knows that he 3bet bluffs, so he 4bet because he is looseaggro, flop ofc he bets, turn he picks the gutshot and the bets and dont fold because he feel committed
@@iDueSopravvissuti yes, and 10k tournament LOL
Why do I never have anyone at my table torching money like that guy at the first table 😂
Something wrong with camera angles? Not focusing on the right side or person

He's right I would always use a single chip too.
Really? I never care too much about chip denominations. If I have too many of a certain denominations I would use those first
@@samuraijack1371 fair enough - but maybe it's because you're not a pro.
More vlogs with Joao Viera and Mustapha Kanit please because they speak clear English
Does anybody know the name of the German pro he's chatting with?

I dont think he is a good player😂That's ridiculous!
Good player but so rude to the people he talks to.
Be more humble bro

Who was he rude to? I never saw him be rude to anyone.
