- Full boat tour of our Westsail 32, Serenity.
We are in the final stages of preparing to sail from Australia to Vanuatu, stopping in Lorde Howe Island and New Caledonia for an overall journey predicted to be close to three weeks long.

Gives me confidence you know what you need to to stay safe out there! Glad you have arrived safely in Lord Howe and hope you have found the brewery! Wishing you fair winds for a safe sail to the pacific islands. You found Lord Howe so the ocean navigation skills have already been given a work out. We made the crossing from New Cal to Coffs Harbour in Sydney in 2003 having sailed all the way from the UK. Will pass on some interesting navigation tips before you make the crossing back. Have fun, stay safe and enjoy the pacific island communities.

Hello fellow W32 owner. The lighting procedure for the heater is first to heat the burner. You can use anything from alcohol to kitchen oil-soaked tissue paper just put it into the burner pot. The fuel knob should be on for this part as the fuel will start once the pot is up to temp. Don’t worry about the fan; it is only useful for higher fuel settings. That’s it, but the heater is best mounted on the port bulkhead because it can be low enough to be gravity-fed and doesn’t interfere with the starboard stowage cabinet.
