So good even Haendel couldn't resist borrowing...
this sounds very similar to the march of the Queen of Sheba, from the opera Solomon.
@@alex9920ro That's because Handel copied the main motif and chord progression, and adapted it into a march. He apparently wrote to Telemann telling him he would do it, as there exists a letter from Telemann saying that he was excited to hear that Handel had "played around" with his compositions.
It's based on a romanesca progression anyway, the most common baroque opening move.

Taffelmusik, eller musik til maden, var meget brugt før i tiden ved større selskaber. Se lige, at alle mændene har fine hosebånd om strømperne, ellers falder de ned.........
For a killer version of this largo see Sinkovsky's group at Ambronay in 2018. The playing is uneven but the overall effect is utter magic.
