Everyone has an accent, a French person who lives in the south will speak French with a different accent than a French person from the north. Same with Belgians, Canadians, Swiss and so on. Accents exist in every languages. A person from Ireland will speak with a different accent than a person from England or an American. Of course 2 Canadians speaking together won’t notice their accent because for them they don’t have one but if a French speaks with them, he will notice their accent and same for the Canadians who will notice the accent of the French.
