My high school offered a Holocaust Studies class. It’s still the best class I ever took and probably the only one I remember! Thank you to my teacher Mrs. Byrd for pushing for us to have this class!
The Holocaust is NOT a story. It is a horrific EXPERIENCE which we need to recollect and document through those precious few who survived to speak and write about those years. It is a living document.
And now we need to speak up against Israels regime. We can not say one is wrong but not the other.

A beautiful lady and grandma
She's a very nice lady. There's something she's trying to grasp here that she didn't experience herself. It was her Grandma's pain. This is noble and generous. She would like to broaden her empathy to then pass it on, if at all.she can, to her students. She is a wonderful and selfless teacher.
This is very good. This documentary brings up perspectives I had not thought of before.
I have looked at as much material as I can find to learn of the experiences of those who suffered through the Holocaust, and yet there is always more to learn of all that went on.
The Jewish peoples of Europe were very tallented and an intelligent peoples which shows in their music, visual art, and creative writings. Im sure we can put these truths across to our coming generations through tbose genre's. The spoken history of survivors is imperative.
With this Woke generation they are wanting to 're-write' history and trying to make people think the Holocaust didnt even happen! Its sooo important that actual evidence and actual experience is kept and taught in Curriculum if at all possible.
Very good photos and family biography. This is just one story. The family's story. The resilience of man always amazes me.
What a magnificent documentary this was. So well put together. Everyone needs to watch this to understand the pain and what these beautiful souls went thru. RIP❤

History repeats itself if We Forget what happened. And unfortunately it repeated many times in different countries like genocide in Rwanda South Africa, Bosnia genocide ,Yugoslavia, South America Argentina dictatorships and countless more.

This is the same old same old. Why are there no documentaries about the millions of non-Jews who were in the camps?? This was more about how easily humans can be manipulated to do horrific things especially when all social controls are removed. It's strange how non survivors always cry about what they are offended about.
WE SHOULD NEVER FORGET ALL THE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE TIMES IN HISTORY. Someday these ATROCITIES WILL NEVER happen again.
We have forgotten what happened was ethnic cleansing. This is also happening today in Palestine, in India, and Kashmir, the ethnic cleansing of Muslims. to name a few. It seems we never learn.

Can you believe that I don’t talk to a friend because he thinks the holocaust was embellished and lies where added. Even if he’s correct there’s enough fact and truth to prove I’m correct. I’m 60 and Irish and I know about suffering I know how nasty a people can turn against you. How can people deny such horrible nasty system made to destroy a race of a very special people. While all horrific atrocities of past and present should be taught, and understood how such things happen. One should not wallow in victim-hood! Becoming a perpetual victim at every turn. Sort of like "Juicy" Smollett. Who was so desperate to appear a victim, and gain enormous amounts of sympathy through that notoriety, that he manufactured and conjured up a false incident of assault. Knowing the fallen nature of man, I'm not saying that those sort of incidents can never occur. Unfortunately, the potentiential for evil is ever with us. I'm just pointing out, that in remembering, we should no go the other way, and look like someone crying wolf at every breath. After awhile, people will stop listening. I've only found out recently that my mother's father my grandfather was a high ranking SS officer she fled Germany in 47 never ever used her maiden name I AM absolutely sick over this she told me who he was and I've researched some of the things that My grandfather and uncles played in WW2 Germany and Austria Russia and Poland I can't get myself to tell my grandkids and daughter yet I can't understand why my blood have done these horrible and hanece thing I'm Ill think how,why they did it I'm not racist in the slightest there animals

You need not be ashamed! You're just as innocent as the victims and survivors of the Shoah! My Grandmother was a survivor and NEVER SAID A WORD about what she endured... She had her number removed, changed her name, and moved to the states after she met my Grandfather who was an American G.I. working at a displaced persons camp in Germany. I found out through a DNA test and then I started doing research. Yes, what they did was horrible and they're shouldn't have done the things that they did... But no one has a right to put the sins of the fathers on the children... LOVE YOURSELF ❤️
You never know. It certainly is no fault of yours. I had no idea I was part Jewish until three years ago.
