It can also go on land for short periods of time and hop around a bit before it needs to go back into the water :)
I must ask this how the hell do you get the modded one to do the bounce when it’s on land because I lost one of my X fish that way I was jamming my buttons but nothing 😓
@@Godzilla30125 when its on land if playing on console its X for Playstation A for Xbox or Spacebar on PC and it jumps in the direction you're facing.

its not from wild card they brought in a mod. I question wildcard making anything in the game at this point besides the basic island map

love that i'm seeing this and i can't get on my game. just great
i did a simular trap nearer to shore with the ASE version, just be sure it's not to shalllow or it will suffocate in air.
I did the exact same thing, the trap was fully submerged but I could stand on the top and fire from the air. Unfortunately the xiph achieved sentience and understood exactly what I was trying to do, and if my sacro got into water that was too shallow it would turn around and swim all the way out of render distance like the ichthys do when you try to tame them without a trap, and that just so happened to take place when it was sitting directly in front of the gate. I was screaming by the time I got it trapped 😅
Any idea where the saddle blueprints for these drops ?

It wont tame for me, got a maxed level koed i put in prime and one of every kibble and it says "put taming food in inventory "

they will be extremely good in PvP because of the bleed damage.
@@VColossalV fair enough, i lost interest in ark pvp along time ago (mostly because of cheaters) i only really play modded private pve servers now, make the game alot harder.
They are pretty decent, but they don't really do all that much, I imagine they did when they were added, but these days the megalodon has a pack boost and does bleed damage, which made them allot more useful, but it was a pretty swift kick in the nuts to anything else in the ocean because pack boost/bleed damage is a pretty tried and true niche for any new ark creature, and it was also 90% of the xiph's utility. It's sort of become a plesi vs mosa comparison
@@thomasdevlin5825 i dont know anyone that use megs lol its all plei, mosa or basil. only use i can see these for is coz there fast. early game tame for first dive into the ocean. but i would use a bary to tame something better

it can jump and grab flyers and can also go on land for limited time....btw u missed the kill animation when it holds smth in it's mouth and kills...it also has a pack boost like dire wolfs and that red blood effect actually gives them a frenzy boost...it also has bleed.....bruh u missed a lot of stuffs lmao
