Im a massage Therapist and i first heard this song while massaging a client. I was like what the fuck just happen to my ears, no lie i look for this song for weeks.
I was watching commercial for Shazam and i download the app just to get this song. I literally waited weeks for this song to come back on in the spa. Remember spa music is random off a list we dont have access to but i finally got it and it was worth it.

Black Sands was a straight 10/10. Bonobo and Andreya Triana go together like PB&J. Unfortunately his newer stuff hasn't been quite as good.. But god damn this album was perfect.

I saw Bonobo and Andreya perform this live at the Chicago House of Blues on 4/20 (I forget what year...). And it was an AMAZING performance and an amazing show! That performance stands out to me quite a bit which is strange because, ostensibly, I should not be able to remember any of it at all. Love the song, love the album, love the artists, you make life so much better! Thanks for the great tunes :)

A really wonderful video. First of all I love the song, the easy living-room feel of it, like a big sofa and a Persian rug. Second, I love the tone of it. EASY, with a quiet back down minor-key smoky tone. Third, I love the circling: it all looks so informal but it is masterfully done. Bravo.
