I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again. The best self filmed videos in the industry come from none other than Greg. Beautiful filmography and beautiful bird, can’t wait till turkey season 2024.
Absolutely Greg’s hunts are my favorite. Plus he seems his knowledge of hunting allows to be successful more then the rest. Self filming as well he deserves the golden antler award.
The way he explains situations and scenarios is too notch plus his solo filming on top of that is impeccable. Congrats Greg on a great bird and thanks for sharing your hunt.
Greg is a great teacher in everything he does. I’ve been hunting for 63 years and I can still learn things from Greg’s videos. Great job buddy and God Bless.
Greg I hope you never leave this group of guys. Anyone would be lucky to have you for a story teller using your camera. I love the team yall have. Excellent content!
Congratulations on a beautiful hunt Greg! That is one beautiful Turkey! By the way it’s such a pleasure watching your hunts man, I love how you take your time and enjoy the whole process filming and capturing all the little things. That’s how I am when I’m hunting I love to enjoy all the scenery and everything. Thank you for the great content.
Guys, if y’all plan on doing the public land pick up every year, let others know. We need to make this a yearly thing for all states. I’d be more than happy to organize one for my state
Great public message to pick up the litter. I recall reading once "Don't complain about the litter, just pick it up"! I am an avid mountain biker too and will often keep plastic grocery bags in my vehicle to pick up the trash around the trailheads. Our local mountain bike club organizes a annual trash pick up day at the local mountain bike trails / parks. It is amazing and disappointing at the amount of trash that is left on public lands and roadsides. Way to give back and be stewards of our public lands!
That might be my favorite vid that Greg’s done. Beautiful location, pretty orange breasted bird, antelope. Nice tutorial on listening strategies, great chess match on the ground! Nicely done.
Reminds me of hunting in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. I miss the West, but turkey hunting in the Midwest and the South has been good to me and a lot of fun.
Love your guys videos, they are the best! What’s the chance you guys can show us your turkey gun and shell setups?! Like you guys do for bow season. Seems like you guys use a variety of pews on the episodes and that is the best part! Thanks for great content!
Such a great teaching point and hunt. Congratulations on getting your ways off gobbler 🦃 even if you didn’t get to set up camp 🏕️ there Greg. Definitely a dream of mine to get a Merriam. Actually all of the subspecies in North America 🇺🇸.
I hunt a place where you can stand and barely hear one on the roost at 300 yards. But the way the land lays, you can get back to the spot where I park and hear the same turkey loud and clear at about 800 yards on the roost. But 1.44 miles is a whole lot farther than 800 yards. Terrain definitely affects acoustics. Great video.
Great hunt Greg! What you do….you do so well! Great video and beautiful bird! Watching all the videos out so far and can’t wait till April in Waukesha WI 🦃
March 2nd!!! Pick up trash day, shooooot I'll be turkey hunting in South Florida, opening day. But I sure Will pickup any trash I see while hunting as always!!
Ol G Money always gets it done!!! Even when he doesn't it's still a success!!! Well done brother!!! The countdown for me is single digits now, 8 more days until turkey season boys😁💪💪🦃🦃🦃
Thanks Greg for another excellent episode. I’m getting fired up for turkey season here in Minnesota. May I ask what choke you use for turkeys? I missed one last year at about that same distance, 43 yards. Of course it couldn’t be my shooting😉 Keep’em coming please!
In reference to the beginning of the video . I was at my public land archery range Two months ago. Berlin in Ohio. Just walking the range I filled a large garbage bag with trash. I was so pissed looking at cans and bottles I left and went to a store just to get bags and went back. People are pigs, I say it all the time. They come to enjoy a resource that we all pay for and treat like crap. I'll never understand. It seems like wherever I go on public land it's like that.
You can hear with ear way further than on camera. Last year was the furthest I've ever tracked hearing a turkey.. Cold clear morning with no wind in Mississippi and 1.7 miles tracked on OnX to get to him
Hope you have created more opportunities with your photography skills. Its quite amazing. Some of the stuff that you have done has blown me away. Your also teaching the younger guys. Hopefully there paying attention. Your damn good Greg! A thp calendar would be cool but your almost to good for that. PBS nature always does good work even though I'm against everything they believe in. Your really good man! Best wishes!
I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again. The best self filmed videos in the industry come from none other than Greg. Beautiful filmography and beautiful bird, can’t wait till turkey season 2024.

Another great video from Mr cool Greg. He said “I’m fired up” as calm as can be.
I would love to just sit and talk with Greg for a while. So much knowledge to be gained from an outdoorsman like himself.
I would love to see a break down on what all Greg brought with him to be prepared for a backpacking turkey hunting trip
Reminds me of hunting in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. I miss the West, but turkey hunting in the Midwest and the South has been good to me and a lot of fun.

Great Hunt Greg! Thanks for sharing it with us! Do you make tail mounts out of a lot of your turkeys?
I know of a place on public in Eastern Ohio that would take a semi truck and a team of people to clean up. There's over a truckload of just tires.
Great job Greg you are videographer of the year in my book 😊 Beautiful bird Congrats
Such beautiful country! Just don't see that kind of terrain up here in VT

Hey Greg, another great video! What leafy type jacket is that? Seems like those are really nice for sitting on the ground.
Great video. I know cameras distort the distance, but it looked like that was a 100 + yard shot. TSS coming in hot
Thanks for the video. You are really good at what you do. I look forward to your next video.
Greg=🐐

I see u you’re not using your black eagle what gun and choke and shot were u using this hunt and season ? 😊
Did you forget the safety at 15:45?
Greg=🐐
There were a lot of doves kooing in the back ground.
If you can locate a bird on the limb from 2 spots, the intersection of those lines should be close to where he's at.
Not much beats an Eastern rattling off right in front of you. One of he most electric things in the woods.
I love y’all hunting videos! Keep up the good work!🦃🦃🦃
When’s @JimRyser gonna drop an album for us 🔥
Got any idea how long that shot was?
