NFC east and AFC east, they both are the most competitive division of the league after so many years. It’s really awesome to see all the 4 teams of a division in the playoffs. Maybe it won’t happen but the effort that all these 4 teams have put into their games is something precious.

Finally there's a football team in the nation's capital.course they have the NFL's most expensive bench warming qb but they should have known that before bringing him here.if they keep playing like this i may have to move my loyalty down 295 from Baltimore to landover.please keep wentz on the pine and when u can bring Chase back.my Ravens sucked so bad 2day that this was probably the loss that will hurt them in the rankings for the playoffs.it will come down to the same thing as last year which is hoping another team losses to get in the playoffs.Go commanders.
As a former long time Panther fan, I gotta say that watching Heinicke be successful and having fun while he does it makes me extremely happy for the man. He never really got a fair shot in Charlotte, but obviously river boat Ron saw something there too. Good to see a likeable underdog get the time and stage to shine.

@@Strongindianer was a fan from 1996 to mid 2021. I got tired of the horrible decisions made by the front office. The final straw for me was when they re-signed Newton. It was obviously a lost cause at that point. I cut ties and that was that.

The energy has definitely shifted since Heinicke was named as the starter. That energy even woke our defense up. ATL has been the first team to actually run against us successfully so far. My team kind of stinks now because of missing holes, both on the defensive and offensive sides of the ball. Losing to Tampa Bay, and then to Las Vegas was just unacceptable. My team clearly isn't where they need to be at if they expect to make a playoff run. Add to that, look at San Francisco who now own the NFC West. Seattle blew that too.

Die hard skins fan cmon dude we are 7 and 5 and as I will take our wins we are not a great team but very gritty and a couple of pieces from being a contender such as qb, dB, and offensive line but we ain't winning 11 games. The giants always give us fits Daniel Jones plays great against us and has owned us in the past. We play Frisco out there and im not sure anyone would want to play them and then Cleveland with Chubbs, Cooper, and Watson back and finish off against Dallas. They stepped up with Payne deflecting that pass, but this was a defense that gave up 7 yards per carry and had several big pass plays. As much as I love 'em, I'm not giving this to the defense. Not only 7 yds per carry, but anyone they put in the backfield got 7 yards per carry. So, no, I'm giving this to the running game.

I don't wanna see anybody get injured on the football field but I have to say I love watching old clips of Taylor lighting people up, I mean dude brought the wood every single time(again I'm not saying I wanna see anyone get hurt) he just played with reckless abandonment when it came to his on body and putting that huge hit on someone. The young man was truly 1 of a kind and a generational talent and like so many others he was taken from us all way to soon. Why did the Falcons leave it to Mariota to pass in the last moments with only 3-4 yards while the RPO from gun run game has been killing it all day? Especially since his accuracy from the pocket has been pretty hit or miss all season. I like what the Falcons have been doing with the change over, actual established running game and a tougher fly-to-the-ball defense its been fun to watch. Its just these close losses have been hard.

As a Vikings fan, I will tell you this much: That Washington D is definitely Top-5. They're for real. And I don't see any way the Giants hold off the Commanders for a WC spot. Two teams going in opposite directions. In fact, I have the Commanders beating the Cowboys in what could be an impactful Game 17. Commanders are just a tough, gritty team, and I don't think anyone sane wants to play them in the postseason.

Yeah that was so frustrating at the end of that game having the penalty which of course allowed the Vikings to keep the ball and basically run out almost all the remaining time before kicking the winning field goal. It was a sucky call but rules are rules and the Vikings won fair and square, actually just like what happened today with the falcons roughing the punter and giving Washington the 1st down and the game. Still that was a hard one to swallow against the vikings

Would have been nice to see Chase Young back in action, but I can understand why they giving him time to heal up. Was such a clutch pick in the redzone by Kendal Fuller. Every time I watched the replay of Marcus on that deep ball to me it looks like he was touched by Payne with his knee down should have been a sack in my eyes. Good game.
That's what I thought at first, but the replay showed he slipped on the wet field and no Washington player touched him. Payne was close but it was the TV angle. It was clear he never touched him.

Brian Robinson is a great asset to this team. Heinicke has got the pulse of all the offensive players & the defence has been rock solid. It was a slow start to the season, but these guys are hitting great form at the right time. Credit to Ron Rivera as well. Keep it going Washington.

Commanders seriously have a chance of getting that 7 seed WC spot. Starting off 1-4, and now 7-5 is a huge story. Brian Robinson is already a top 10 RB and looking to be a top 5 RB by next year. Too much grit and power for him not to be. Giants twice in a row and I see us winning both. 9-5 going to San Fran doesn’t sound bad at all, in fact 9-10 wins should guarantee a playoff spot. I like that people mention Sean Taylor a lot in the comments, I didn't watch the NFL when he was around but I watched hits highlights and learned about him, loved his story, except the tragedy that was his end.
Well, they had an honorary thing for him. He was truly a marvel to watch. We all wonder what would have happened if not for that ending.
Sean Taylor was the Bruce Lee of the NFL Saftey position.
Yeah, it was such a shame. He had some behavior problems early on, but Joe Gibbs had coached him well. He was on track to be a Hall of Fame safety. Would he have made the HoF? We'll never know.
There's something special about this Commanders Team. Every NFL team that comes to Washington has to expect a tough and very physical game. These guys are clicking on all cylinders now, especially with Heinicke in the pocket!

Chargers fan here.. how can anyone not love Taylor Heinicke?! He may not be a superstar like Patrick Mahomes but he’s a tough blue collar guy with a lot of passion and huge heart. I believe he can be Washington’s franchise QB if they commit to him and he’s just began to scratch the surface of his potential. I’d love to here what other people think so please comment. For those fans and people who say that Marcus Mariota isn’t very good. I want you to realize something he wants do whatever it takes to win games, he works his ass off every week to prepare and tries his best every single week. He has built a dynamic in the locker room that allows for true fans like myself to believe and feel apart of this team. No one knows what goes on inside the locker room and what they do Behind the scenes. But, just know when we lose games never throw blame on 1 person and underestimate someone’s potential until you see what they can do! That’s all I gotta say.
