This adjustment is done when you change the bulb on xenon projector or what? The technician changed the brighter bulb to xenon projector for my VW Scirocco. There is no warning show in the dashboard, but when I run the VCDS, it shows malfunction on the headlight range..
What error you get? This video is made for people retrofitting xenons . If you just change a bulb should be ok, no error. If you get errors, post it here.
Hi , i have passat b6 bixenon with adaptive headlights , i changde lightbulbs(d1s) , and now lights are terible , they have short range , i manually adjusted them at max height (with the adjusting bolts on the headlights) but still very bad and short ranged. Is there any way i can level them or do something on vcds ? Thank you.
@@IrfanKovačević-m5v you definitely put them back wrong. You can do basic settings and adjust them, i don’t have a b6 anymore but was in basic settings or adaptations , have a look
@@carguysyndrome b7 has actually coding helper , not sure i made a video but i can make one if you need. Just open the module in vcds and follow the helper. You will have to do basic settings as well. Let me know how you get on.
@@colintan9613 it depends if your old Afs is still ok to get the code. This was a retrofit i did in the video and usually the module is fine unless water damage or some wires shorting. Dspends on the vehicle setup if you have DCC or not. Get same part number and copy code over. The F version can be coded as well, vcds and long coding but might need more involved. Try to match part numbers and is safe that way.
Thank you very much

What’s the coding on b7?
I haven’t done that, mine has C version, I’ll work on a b7 shortly and update you. Code os different if car has DCC so don’t just put a code randomly.
@@lavianeverythinghi. Have u done b7 coding? Mine is fwd and no dcc

@@lavianeverything I wonder if the F version will have the same code? Unless I retrieve the code from my faulty AFS and copy it to the new AFS module
