- The Novaform Memory foam ComfortGrande mattress has been so comfotable. I no longer have lower back and neck pain. It was time for our mattress to be replaced. It was 10 years old. Costco's return policy is like a dream. If for any reason we can return it at any time. I love that! I did a ton of research on memory foam mattresses and Novaform was at the top of the list. I've had mine a few years now and it's super comfortable. I'm pretty fat and my wife is petite (odd couple I know) our bed is still perfectly flat and just as comfortable as the day I bought it.

Thank you so much for this video! I have been saving (slowly!) for a year for a new mattress and I had been thinking about those mattresses since I saw the sale. I'm so glad I found this video and did decide to get one- even thought I had a hard time letting that money go (even though it was for a mattress) because I'm on baby step 2 and working hard to pay off debt! Could you provide an update on it now? How is it holding up? Is there a cooling effect or does it hold in heat? Does it get firmer in the winter or stay about the same?

Thanks for this review! I am in need of a new mattress as well. The bed that we have now is about 7 years old. I recently got diagnosed with scoliosis, so I have intense back, lower back, shoulder, and neck pain on a daily. In my opinion, I don't mind spending more money on a bed. In fact, I think it's a good investment. You spend 6-8 hours every single night on this bed and the quality of sleep you get really plays a big role on your mood throughout the day. I think I'm gonna have to take advantage of that Costco sale before it expires. Once again, thank you so much for sharing!

I also bought this mattress and found it very comfortable at first. Unfortunately, it doesnt support me well as a side sleeper and about two months in I have developed terrible back and neck pain.
Thank you so much for this video. I’m going to purchase this mattress tomorrow morning. Just letting you know that I was on the search for the perfect pillow also. I work for a chiropractor and I tried the pillow he sells. Look for a water pillow they are amazing!!! You adjust the pillow with water according to what kind of sleeper you are. It’s the best thing ever. I tried the my pillow but my neck was still killing me. I hope this helps you.

I have a nova form mattress, but generally collapse into bed after a night of drinking. Glad to discover that I am sleeping comfortably.

We purchased a firm memory foam mattress a few years ago and we love it! My husband's back problems resolved within a few nights. I was afraid it'd be too firm, but it's just right. I also use a contour memory foam pillow from Hautelook (Nordstrom Rack). It's good for side sleeping. I believe sealy is the brand. Congrats on 10,000 subscribers, too!
I should say his back pain resolved, he still has a bum back ;).

The best mattress i have ever had from costco is the nova form serafina my only question is what is the best mattress protector.
I got a Sterns and Foster pillowtop and want to return it after 2 years. I'm really thinking of the Novaform 14 inch king size. It's only about $600, or would you get the same price the Casper 12 inch or little more for the Molecule 2? How has your mattress held up after about 4 years? Any sagging?

You've had this mattress for a while. We are looking for a mattress, but I'm shy of memory foam because I feel like I have to crawl out of it. How does this mattress handle that?
So how do you return it if needed? I can’t see how you could get it to fold back up and put it back in the box. Will they come pick it up?

This mattress is on sale on Costco's recent ad! Yay!!!! Can you show which sheets you got at costco? Did you ever find a pillow you're happy with?
Also: novaform makes a topper that costco sells-are you using a topper with this mattress?
I appreciate that your mattress story is similar to mine. I'm LONG overdue to buy a new one and doing so much research. Your video thumbnail photo gave me a sense of someone I could trust and who wouldn't necessarily try to "sell" me on a particular mattress. And I appreciate your real and honest video. I saw the mattress this week at Costco and we plan to buy one tomorrow for $540. As far as pillows go, I am also a side-sleeper. I love the "MY PILLOW" in a king size with plenty of stuffing, which they refer to as their "green" choice. I have given them as Christmas gifts and everyone seems to love them!! Thanks for the mattress info :))

Hi Jia! I have a (maybe weird) question. Did the mattress have a smell? When we have bought furniture before (not from Costco) there was always that new furniture smell. I'm wondering if the mattress had a smell?
Not weird at all. I totally get it. There was no smell. I think because it was in an air tight vacuum seal there was no odor. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for your review. I slept on this mattress recently at an Air bnb and really liked it, though wanted to do some more research. So, I'm a side sleeper also and have been told back sleep is better for my back, etc. Actually slept on my back on this mattress was totally amazed because I NEVER can fall asleep on my back. Sleep totally through the night. I have been struggling with lower back pain for a few months. As far as a pillow goes, I bought one from Bed Gear last year, and neck pain subsided probably 70% in one night. I also see a chiropractor who helps immensely. Pillow was expensive, $150.00 but I have bought so many mediocre pillows in my life, I should have just spent the money on this one.
Do you think it matters whatbox spring you use with this mattress?

I just filmed a review on this exact same mattress over on my channel, and got on youtube to see what videos were out there and came across your channel. New sub here! We also LOVE our Novaform mattress. I know this video is a bit older but did you ever find your perfect pillow? Costco also now carries Novaform pillows! We have been eyeing them to go along with our mattress but we haven't made the plunge yet. This weekend might be the weekend though. ;) If it's as good as the mattress we may never get out of bed again...lol.
Thanks for posting. We need a new mattress for our son's bed and I was wondering about it since I saw your video. I love the My Pillow but I sleep on my back or side. I used to have neck problems from sleeping on my stomach- I hope you don't. I got the My Pillow at Bed Bath and Beyond with a 20% off coupon so it wasn't too bad.

I bought one and it was horrible. Woke up with numb arm every morning. Also I believe they use fiberglass because the tag says don't open cover with 29% barrier coating (fiberglass)

I just set mine up and it’s stiff as a board. I sink in a little while if I hold still but it’s pretty stiff. The sample and the store was much softer

I know this is an old video but If you see this comment, I have tried EVERY pillow for side sleepers and FINALLY found one that has been AMAZING! It's from kohls, called "The Big One Memory Foam Side Sleeper" virtually eliminated my neck pain in honestly 3 nights :0

I’ve found the Grand Haven down pillows from Costco to be very comfortable. It’s a two pack for around $20.

As far as pillows go, try a good Walmart store, they very greatly in quality and selection, but a good well stocked Walmart store has a wide variety of pillows in different quality and firmness and even their most expensive pillow is far cheaper, than that phony over marketed junk “ The My Pillow “.
And Walmart has a very easy return policy too.
What I did to save unnecessary trips back and forth to Walmart was to buy several different brands and firmnesses at that same time and took them all home and slept on the various pillows until I find my favorite and then simply returned the pillows I didn’t like.
Sometimes I tired a pillow and changed to a new one on the middle of the night because the one I started with wasn’t working for me.
It’s really much better to have several different pillows at the same time so you can do side by side comparison, one right after another.
I don't know if you'll see this but you need to try the bamboo pillow I love it I looked for a long time to find a pillow I liked

I loved bed bath and beyond to get my pillows. I am a side sleeper and love a squishy scrunch pillow and my other pillow is a
little firmer. The customer service I would get at Bb&B was so great. I guess they are only online now but give them a try.
Purchased this mattress.. wanted to love it but, it is going back. Way to firm for me, causes my hips to hurt.

Great review! I buy my pillows at bed, bath and beyond. I usually get goose down. On there web page they have like a test to see what pillow works best. An other tip would be to not use king size pillows for sleeping, my parents own a king size bed and that has worked great for them, they buy full size pillows for each one of them and use their on set because king size tend to be more uncomfortable. If you have king size ones now, dont toss them, use them to make the bed so it looks nice but use the smaller ones to sleep.
This product could not be located by me for the same price on Costco's website, but it is available in some stores for $699 for a cal king under item number 956421. On their website it is $799
This mattress is not currently on sale, and Costco tells me there is no way to know WHEN it will ever go on sale again. Would you mind telling me when you got your mattress? Maybe they'll mark it down around the same time again? Here's to hoping! I certainly wouldn't mind saving the extra $120 to put towards new bedding and sheets.
Here is something that perplexes me: Costco says they never know when an item will be on sale until the ad is published. They also tell me that if you were to buy an item for full price and after you purchase the item it goes on sale, they will only grant an adjustment to the sale price within 30 days of your full price purchase...yet, their return policy allows you to return at any time. Why wouldn't I return the product when I see it on sale 6 months later and purchase it again for the discounted price? Their policies seem to contradict on this front, and encourages additional returns. I'm just pointing out the logic that with such a liberal return policy, Costco should either never mark
Items down, or always grant adjustments when they do.

Awesome review! I think I am going to pull the trigger on this mattress now. I am a stomach/side sleeper and I know you need a dense pillow that is flat while sleeping on your stomach. I really love my sleep number pillow for that. I am going to try the Ghostbed pillow as well since it is really designed for staying cool and made out of foam.

Just saw this for the 1st time. I used to sell mattresses. That's not true about changing your mattress every 8 years or so. Some mattresses have 15 year warranties. Just wanted you to know. Great video tho
Thanks for the review, but you barely showed the mattress itself and mostly just talked into a camera. Kind of hard for us to get a sense of how the mattress might be from that.

I sleep on my side and stomach. My perfect pillow is a slim memory foam pillow. Not the one with the wave like ridge. Just a flat memory foam pillow. Also, I just bought my Novaform ComfortGrande bed, and so far we are loving it.

It's super not good for your back to sleep on your stomach, so that may be contributing to your aches and pains. : ]
Keep up the good work. However, the sweet spot for any review video is 5 minutes. Remember someone will watch multiple videos on a product. So please keep it short and sweet and you will save their time.
