Actually 'Around The World (La La La La' is by ATC. (I'm sure it's short for A Touch of Class but their name is ATC.)
I was an 70/80's kid so when all these songs came out at was at the local gay bar with my freinds, finally living my authentic self and was having SO MUCH FUN with these songs!
Same! I remember dancing to so many of these at my city’s great gay and lesbian clubs (all of which are long gone now), often wearing my way-too-big ‘90s blazer with shoulder pads, rocking my slicked back hair. It was a great decade to be in my 20’s and queer. Oh, youth.

Matt was born of a bass guitar and a synthesizer, then plucked by Avi to complete the scale.

They have meshed so well together with Matt, and their editing and production value has gone to another level now. It is SOOO good. That little touch of autotune in Believe at the end of the notes was such a nice touch. They certainly pay homage to Cher...
I mean, if you cover "Believe" *without* auto-tune, you're doing something wrong with your life 😂

Boom boom boom is from the Vengaboys. Fun fact: There was a playbackshow and my cousin and I choose this song. We were 8 and 10 years old I think? We had no idea what we were “singing” (because English isn’t our first language) When I listen to it now I’m so embarrassed... I understand the lyrics now and.... yeah😅
If it makes you feel any better, most English native speakers didn't get it either. It was often played at school discos 🤣🤣

Wow. It's kind of amazing to think how far *I've* come since first hearing these songs. I can't even imagine having the kind of experience you had from singing/dancing to these catchy songs without fully understanding them and then looking back and being like "oh... OOOOHHH, why did I ever sing this with my family"
These songs and this GROUP is for people like us! Those of us who FEEL music with our whole body!!!!
Remember a lot of those being on the radio..when mom wasn't listening to country. I was born smack dab mid 80's, and grew up in the 90's with a lot of these and plenty of runbacks from the 80's..and 70's, 60's, 50's, and 40's from my grandparents who were born in the 40's.

You never confirmed if this would make you dance but we can see it did. This is top notch Pentatonix. A couple of transitions are not as smooth as before but still excellent.
Those sunglasses are FULL ON early 90's. I think I had a pair like that. I also had a pair that were purple square/diamond glass in round metal frames. And god damn this medley is taking back to my high school days. (Class of '95, yo!)

This one took everybody by surprise...I don't think anyone knew anything about this before it appeared. You wonder what lab they were invented in, but I'm kinda thinking that Kirstie may actually be J-Lo's long-lost daughter!! She's definitely channeling the whole 90s Dream Girl thing in this one!!
