A better start point and "more bang for your buck" would be to pick up one or more of the D&D board games = Wrath of Ashardalon, Castle Ravenloft, and Legend of Drizzt. 40-60 dollars, you get dungeon tiles, and about 42 minis, including large minis. They are not painted.
Ahhh the curse of the wargamer, always wants more minis xD. Last year i bought a 3rd printer to use for my d&d games. Tho the initial cost might be slightly high. I think in the long run it will save you money. Great video as always my friend :D
@@Classic_DM Right now we are playing the curse of Strahd. I'm a player in this one. But I am tinkering with a couple of campaigns that i hope to start during the summer, just outlines for now, depening on what my players want to play. Both are pf2 games, one is a "alternative" vampire campaign, while the other is a more traditional campaign set in the underdark. But due to work and all of my friends having kids, finding the time to play is the hard part.
Awesome video this is exactly how ive been playing players have minis and i use token.... Another thing i do since i use tokens and it doesnt leave much to the imagination i have a book stand holder thing and i print and laminate big pictures of monsters which i keep right on other side of dm screen and ill place a picture in the stand and be like you encounter a skeleton
I'm very fortunate to be in St Louis once a month for work. I always stop at miniature market on my way home. As a DM and wargamer, I have a hard time getting out of there without spending a few hundred bucks lol.
Apologies for the DAMN camera shake! I've ordered a better overhead boom :)

I am so happy I found your channel your content is so solid
