Just buy the AMG 6.3 if you're going to go that far. If you really like Ford then get the Flex with Ecoboost but that thing is only good in a straight line.

I've got the first generation Ford Edge. It's a actually a great crossover. My only major complaints are the breaks are two small and windshield glare.
We need an edge GT with the coyote V8. Or a shelby special with the voodoo V8

The ST interior is nice but I've noticed that apart from the ST emblazoned seats, the interior is exactly the same as my mother's 2018 Edge Sport, which is surprising as I thought it would have been updated in some way. But hey, if it isn't broken don't fix it I guess.

I feel like not having a manual transmission kind of breaks the ST formula. Both the Fiesta and Focus ST are manual only, why shouldn't the Edge ST? Oh, I know why: "it's built for the American market and we also don't want to put in the time to engineer a whole new transmission because we don't have one that fits the Ecoboost because us Americans are lazy and won't buy it :("

Even though DCT is faster. For me at least I'd sacrifice speed for the actual feeling of going through the gears. I believe cars should be offered with both. To suit both crowds

Seeing the “better than Audi?” I work at an Audi dealership and as far as their SUV’s. They’re beaten by price by the smallest margin.
Unless you want to spend an extra $13,000+for an SQ5. I’ve driven one and they rocket down a street.

Maybe it's just me, but it kinda sounds like you were expecting an RS while driving an ST. The Focus and Fiesta ST's are cool, and decently quick, but they aren't balls-to-the-wall. Seems like the Edge ST fits the bill, especially for the price. If they ever make an Edge RS, well that better fully be kitted out

I like the styling of these a lot for a crossover. My boy owns an Audi S4 and he knows i'm a huge Ford (mainly Mustang) fan so we're always bickering back and forth about what's better haha. So a titled video like this made me click instantly.

Same here. Sold fords too.. Faves were the Edge Sport and the Flex Limited with the 3.5 ecoboost. Most comfortable and flat planted 3 row ive ever driven for sure.

I have the 2.7l Ecoboost (same engine as this) in my F150 and it’s badass. Actually beats the 3.5 Ecoboost and the 5.0 NA in a quarter mile (although the others win in too speed.) Because it’s a small engine the turbos spook up so quickly, so it’s really fun and responsive.
Spool not spook but I will keep the typo in the spirit of Halloween.

How about the 2.0L turbo Fusion that comes stock with around 17 psi of boost and 280 foot lbs?
nuclearjanitors i have a 2017 fusion with the 2.0, not to be anything special but it’s a fun affordable practical car. Numbers are 245hp and 275 ft lbs.. you really notice the torque like Nolan said if you keep it in the 3500 range.

I did some work on it, a little under the hood and a little tune...don't have any concrete numbers to cite but its definetely noticeable. Not to mention it's a steel frame vehicle that weighs 3600 lb and fits all my dogs. I've been driving a 1988 5 L Bronco for the last 15 years so having something fast is nice.

This car is just a quicker edge with some cosmetic stuff, almost nothing special. 330 ish hp is like the bottom line of so called "sports SUV". Actually Lots of SUVs could have that much of power, even some Ford explorer does .Beat an Audi? I wondering where does that even come from. Maybe it could outrun a q5 but that's about it. Overall, I think it's a overpriced/outdated SUV that Ford want to you think it's fast.

This is more of an AD than a review. What's with the name-calling? This new car looks awful, and they failed to mention the huge underlying problems with their new engines, good horsepower for their size, but prone to MAJOR faults and flaws within a few thousand miles. I would much rather have an Audi wagon/crossover. That said, i like mustangs , raptors, and RS's. This just seems like a bad press video.

My 2013 Flex Limited Ecoboost AWD has more power babeh and everything else the ST does, except lane centering and wireless charging. That’s why it’s so cheap. Sadly nothing new from Ford😬
Ok. OK. I have an idea. If ford made a edge St with a six speed manuel transmission and a lighter weight body like a race ready version than that would blow lid off the crossover hybrid market. Otherwise Nice Car dosent quite represent the RS badge very well 335 hp and a 4 cyl engine isn't enough for a heavy suv.
You dummies the 2.7 is way better then the 3.5! It has more technology like CGI block, liquid cooled turbos directly bolted to the heads (no manifolds). This engine will last way longer then the 3.5 for sure and gets better MPGs.
A car that has a lot better quality,price,and power? A used 2016 Toyota Highlander XLE AWD it’s great handling,great power,and the best part it doesn’t have a turbo as most cars have turbo and it’s really,really,really really rare for a car to have a naturally aspirated engine and the acceleration is fast enough which is 6.2 seconds
