@@misterchips358 hybrid hot hatch? Only thing that comes to mind that are actually hot are golf gte and cooper s e all4(for some) then there are hybrid hatches like prius or cr-z.
@@zhixci958 Imagine vw doing the what the Crz should have been, im thinking the up's GTI 3 cylinder (a 4 banger would be optimal, but im trying to compromise) with a turbo and the electric engine, should be good for at least 180 hp (though i think a sirocco should have at least 200 but that number should be posible with what im sugesting)
11:25 I just love your jokes and your visual puns. You guys are so dumb! in a good way. You got me in tears of so much laughing. That dog begging was an awesome example of how much Americans desired that car XD!! Greetings from Mexico
Your videos make my day brighter.
Holy shit, where has this channel been all my life? Love it!

Up to Speed: Chevy Chevelle

Yes, that is my dream car
Honestly, I know nothing about this model.
Today's Scirocco's basically a Golf but with silicone implants
@@TwentyNinerR yeah...basically a golf...with no space in the back and in the trunk

I was an 84 & 88 Scirroco owner, 88 was a GTI en black beauty. 93 Corrado SLC after. I cried when I had to sell for parts after the VR6 was just too much money to keep up with. Had 9 VW’s in my time and just purchased a 2010 CC. My Vdub obsession continues!
I was handed down a '79 Scirocco back in 1983 from my Mom. I can't find one anywhere that isn't a POS. I used the car as a trade in for a '73 TR-6. I never should have done that.
I'm still searching for one to heal the pain I endured under the thumb of British Leyland.
You nonce!!!!@@tmseh
Cool!

Do The VW Gol ( not golf, gol, the successor of the beetle in brazil. and it`s inspired by the scirocco and like the golf, it still exists and had a gti version witch had a fuel injected 2.0 producing 120 hp ).
Samara Oliveira Im in Mexico right now and I saw one. I just thought the f fell off. Would be surprised all the cars out here janky af
And the tear drop alloy wheel you see in this video was used on the Gol GTS starting in 1987.
the MKII Gol GTI had version named 16V that had DOHC and made 143 HP ( and had bulge in the hood to acomodate the bigger camshaft.).
@@rubensflorentino548 Yes
@@rubensflorentino548 The GT / GTS had a 1.8 engine that produced (declared) 99HP ( the estimate is about 105 to 109 hp, the reason for this is because at the time cars that had over 99HP were taxted higher.).
Bought the last Scirocco R in Dubai last year before it was discontinued. Love it.
Man I wish they had them in the states
Brings back Memories! I had a 79 (I think) red scirocco S brought brand new as a softmore in high school. I had Jensen 6x9 Jensen tri-X speakers, a Sony front end and a Linear Power amp. Rocking out to Donny iris 'Ah Leah'... what a fun car. Can't find much on the S these days
I just came across a 84 for $600 last night and I already wanted it but now I really do lol
Do it
I only knew about the Corrado thanks to the first Forza Horizon game
