You are spot on! Such an underrated piece. I bought it last year as soon as I saw that bracelet. It's excellent especially if you are a vintage pilot watch guy. I think just that bracelet along is worth more than the price. The only pants I'll add is maybe a black date disc. Great concise review.
Really nice review. I have to say their add did not catch my eye but your review did. That bracelet makes the watch for me. Wear it for a few years and when it dies swap out the 8215 for a 9215.
Really nice looking watch overall, but the butterfly clasp is definitely pants! On the other hand, I love the look of that bracelet! It reminds me of the Mido Ocean Star Tribute, which I also love! Great review bro!
Not heard you say how you take your measurement specs on a watch before this video, from 8 to 2 and 9 to 3 plus crown if necessary. Simple but absolutely correct. great review of a good watch. This style of bracelet seems to add value to almost any watch.
Most definitely bro although I would probably mention the date and/or colour if I could do it again but hindsight is great aye. Thanks for watching my man 👍👍
Nice one Simon, excellent review and a nice watch. Probably more of a field watch or old style trench watch than a Pilot which usually has the triangle with dots at the top on both Fleiger A and B style dials. It's a nice size for many people, bit small for me, that screwdown caseback is quite nice, like those deep indents on the back., good sized crown and good lume too. 👍👍
I hear that Brian, am more keeping it consistent with what it is listed as on the Ironwatch store but to save any hassle, I have changed it to Military as that is very broad 😊 Appreciate your support mate 👍👍
I just bought one & I like it so much I'm selling it on Ebay. I'm selling a few watches so I can get the real Murph 38. Sad to let the bracelet go though it''s a cracker.
Most definitely and I’d lean towards an IWC but I don’t like to mention homage anymore, for obvious reasons. Thanks for watching mate and happy new year 👍👍
@@WatchtheTime I was just asking myself. iIunderstand you don’t name the original brands and models anymore. Most channels are doing that now. Thanks and happy new year
Great looking piece iv'e always liked not many YTubers look at , like yourself the clasp is the only neg but i see why they chose it plus i wish they'd use their logo instead of the font on non sterile dials ,i know there's worse names but c'mon.
I’ve seen that and yes, they do look strikingly similar. The Murph is definitely a watch I’d like to feature on the channel - thanks for watching David 👍👍
It looks just like that quartz San Martin you sold me mate. Dreadful brand name. As a matter of interest the 8215 performs better than the NH35 on a timegrapher, with superior positional variance. I have got one coming shortly of the Proxima PX1697 which I bought from the Watcher. Thanks for the review.
I get you but I hear they are aligned with Cronos. As for the movement, I don’t mind the upgraded model of the 8215 that has hacking and also appreciate the info. Enjoy your new watch and thanks for watching mate 👍👍
It's a nice looking watch except for...the date window! It's a stark white date window combined with faux patina hands an indices. For me it looks like a punch in your face. I'd rather have a no date watch with a ghost position.

Am glad you like it mate and I can really see why, it’s a beauty and for the price, very good - thanks for watching 👍👍

Much appreciated mate and a great suggestion - thanks for watching 👍👍
Good to hear you sounding healthy again Simon! Looks to be a tough beater and represents good value.
Many thanks mate and I agree, there is definitely good value in this one - thanks for watching 👍👍

I appreciate your support bro and great shout on the bracelet 👍👍
Another banging discovery mate 👌 👍
I think so too - thanks for watching my man 👍👍
Nicely built. I need a logo on the dial. Thanks for the review!!
Fair enough mate - thanks for watching and I hope you’re well 👍👍

He gives them at around 5min.
I normally do Andy but with all my rambling it is probably quite easy to miss 😂
Thanks for watching my friend 👍👍
Nice looking watch shame about the butterfly clasp I struggle with them always fantastic content and reviews .
I hear you Jason but I don’t mind it too much with this bracelet - thanks for watching mate and happy new year 👍👍
Nice looking watch, not much to dislike at all apart from that 2 screw bracelet.
Good find mate.👍👍
Most definitely bro although I would probably mention the date and/or colour if I could do it again but hindsight is great aye. Thanks for watching my man 👍👍

A decent tool watch, not a fan of butterfly clasps or the 8215, but needs must when on a budget!
Most definitely mate 👍👍
A very well made watch at a good price. Not for me because I don't like the sterile dial. The bracelet is 👍
Excellent review. Thanks Simon!
Most definitely and I appreciate your honesty mate - thank you for watching Jonathan and your continued support 👍👍

Nice one mate, that was is a beaut and I fully understand why you want one, nice one and thank you for watching 👍👍
Keep the bracelet, it should fit the Murph, as they are the same size.
Good shout John 👍👍
Great watch, my only criticism is the date wheel....apart from that it ticks all the boxes....🏴⌚🏴⌚
I hear you mate and agree - it’s a great watch especially for the money 👍👍
Wonderful looking watch and bracelet. The movement could benefit from a 9000 series movement. Is that an IWC or Hamilton homage?
Most definitely and I’d lean towards an IWC but I don’t like to mention homage anymore, for obvious reasons. Thanks for watching mate and happy new year 👍👍

I hear you Ted and can’t disagree with your summary tbh. Thanks for watching mate 👍👍
👍👍
Am glad you like it Andy 👍👍
Hamilton just came out with a smaller Murf that looks very similar to this!
I’ve seen that and yes, they do look strikingly similar. The Murph is definitely a watch I’d like to feature on the channel - thanks for watching David 👍👍
Can't question the value but to me it's more of a trench watch than a pilot's watch and would put it on a bund strap myself
Perhaps and yes it’s a very good value proposition - thanks for watching mate 👍👍
👍
Most definitely 👍👍

Enjoy your new watch and thanks for watching mate 👍👍
Bracelet version is closer to £150 😔
Keep an eye out for sales but this one is a beauty and one I’m gutted I sold on tbh - thanks for watching Shane 👍👍

I agree and upon reflection is something I would mention. Thanks for watching mate and happy new year 👍👍
