Case in point, the super-fluffy pancakes: you said you were expecting something like American pancakes and were disappointed; you need to think of them as griddled soufflé instead, then the egg flavor is expected and they're suddenly not disappointing anymore. (Whether you like them or not is another story - plenty of people don't like the egginess of soufflé - but at least you'll know going in how much or little you're likely to like them.) Why every time i see one of your videos i feel hungry even after i eat???!!!😂 Keep it up buddy!
Guga has the easiest time packing for a trip. He just takes like 20 black shirts and he's done lol. But great video! I definitely have to go to Japan one day.
Guga is a fantastic foodie tour guide! 🍣🍱🍜
I've had Kura both in the states and in Japan and I can tell you, the one in Japan is a third of the price and somehow 5x the quality. It's weird how that works...
Super glad you came to Japan !! I would like to suggest my favorite Japanese food! Shabu shabu! I hope you can try it! With a great hot souce mixed with other sauces
Love how guga talks soo loud on the trains🤣
The best steakhouse I’ve ever been to was one where you cook your own steak.
It was a place called 8th street steakhouse in steamboat springs, Colorado.
You choose your cut and they give you tips on how you want it cooked.
You season and cooked it on a giant grill yourself. So amazing.
So I would love the first place in the video.
Funny to see Guga’s reaction to those pancakes. Every other food travel channel… they do their best to hide their displeasure... Not Guga 😂😂
Guga, on your next trip should definitely try to go to Carcasse Restaurant, in Knokke! Super friendly Chef, also into experimenting, and steak expert! He would definitely be super happy to have you.
Hahahaha The mochi part was hilarious Guga. I am addicted to red bean mochi. But, I can understand how it might be weird to others not used to it. I'm actually surprised you're not familiar with it, or maybe you tried the marketed ones in America. They're very different to handmade fresh mochi. I know this is weird, but I like the starch they use to cover it and makes your teeth grit 😂
Japan is the lovely country to check out, thanks guga.
I like you man you got a good energy and attitude positively you will succeed
During my stay in Okinawa everybody on base called the conveyor belt sushi you had the "sushi go round." Price was based on number of plates and colors since they didn't have your fancy bar code scanner, the one you went to
I really like to visit Japan someday thanks for the video. Guga😊
Wonderful Japan...always a joy! Guga visit Serbia 🇷🇸
New guga video is more happiness added to today, and im pretty happy today so imma explode
*kaboom 💥*
Nice vid. I am in jp osaka right now and might try some of your recommended stuff. Thanks
guga colocando chá no sushi foi épico...abraço guga...gostamos muito de vc!!
dear guga, i know when you though wagyu it's must be A5 grade wagyu. but c'mon, wagyu literally mean japanese beef. that chain food restaurant probably using A4 grade wagyu or below.
17:15 Matcha powder on sushi is crazy 😭
Guga san, when you visit Japan again I’d love to introduce you & your family to the tea ceremony. Then you can experience “real” matcha!
Yoroshiku❗️
The 🦌 are absolutely adorable, i gotta take my 3yr old niece to japan for this
Just make sure don't let your niece to feed the deer. They will chase (literally) after you if you have the smell of food
Lol seems like Guga is a great Steak guy but not so much a general foodie
Yep, fish or others he's not fond of but that's ok but it would have been nice to see him try the seafood places in Japan also!
Was expecting a food video but end up laughing more than a comedy video... (sorry Guga, your face when you ate something 'bad' is hilarious).
The view at 3:38 is amazing, it's like a sea of buildings. It's like the polar opposite to the grasslands of Mongolia & China, seas of grass.
The way guga descends after that Yakiniku place... It's like he is too full to go down normally, and I understand that
Hello I live in Japan and I’m Japanese and Wagyu is super popular and good ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
@2:00 Thank you for visiting Nara Park! I've lived in Nara for 6 years and I wish more Americans would come spend their money here! 😂
4:43 thats funny, i was looking at this ramen shop as i was on my way to the benjamin steak house instead lol
I always thought and said that going up the mountain is the harder part than coming down. Mainly because that is where most of your energy is being used to climb one.
It’s harder coming down for older folks
Your orange juice joke was great. I live in Virginia and my youngest son moved to Florida. I've had orange juice up here at a 100 places but nothing comes close to your Florida juice. Amazing.
when I went to japan I always seeked out those places that looked like a closet with a kitchen in it. always fire food
Chicken heart is SO good. Definitely a try. I was worried at first, but its basically teriyaki texture.
2:12 Shikanokonokonokokoshitantan shikanokonokokoshitantan
Another banger of a vidio
7:27 skibidi try
During my visit to Japan… not knowing where to go on night one for ramen we chose a random shop in the middle of nowhere in a nondescript neighborhood. By far it was levels above all the tourist trap ramen shops everyone talks about
17:15 Uncle Guga thats matcha powder holy molly
I love Japan and their culture!!!
"the humans are caged up" LOL
Guga please try sukiyaki or gyunabe. Sukiyaki is my favorite japanese meat dish.
15:20 The word "wagyu" 和牛 is used to refer to a wide variety of Japanese beef. What you need to look for is either "black wagyu" 黒毛和牛 or something with a grading number on it like 4級 or 5級.
The price you paid there is probably 2-3x what it'd cost at my local yakiniku.
I have been going to omoide yokocho for some 14 years now, and I have NEVER had a guy scream at me suggesting "I go home" the guy was NOT trying to be friendly more likely he was drunk :(
he probably had a bad experience with american streamer making a ruckus in japan who can blame him
@@dtr002 fair point
@@dtr002 it still doesn't make that behavior right lmao..if you actually speak Japanese, you know how extreme he was to Guga.. i'm glad he didn't understand it tbh... he was basically saying "GTFO of here":/
@@izakkertznus636 never said it was 😉
Saying "who can blame him" implies his behavior was justified @@dtr002
love your very honest disgusted expression when the food sux lol
I dont like matcha at first. But after few times its growing on you. And now matcha is one of my favorite drinks.
I was worried for a moment that the deer was gonna bite you, chef rush shows up all of sudden with his machete and you guys have bonus meat for barbecue
You can’t be a foodie and scared of the puffer fish. 😂 Especially, a must in Japan
We have a Kura Sushi in Kansas City now. My wife and I went there and the selection and freshness was amazing!
Hi Gaga, just a little info, 豚骨(tonkōtsu) is ramen, 豚カツ(Tonkatsu) is fried pork coteletts so yeah 5:50
I want to see Guga's take on beef jerky.
havent watched guga in a minute but it looks like he lost hella weight, good job
I actually think this show is not good for me really, he just makes me HHUUNNGGRRYYY😂😂😂
Guga should've known better than to confuse wasabi with matcha-no one should be able to make that mistake😅
Guga, you are a great ambassador for America.
Osaka Castle is breathtaking. Seeing it again makes me want to go back asap
"That guy's yelling at you, having some beer--"
hell i don't even gotta leave the states to have some of that
Small family run restaurants are where you should eat at no matter where you are in the world
extra-eggy pancakes sounds like something i would be into
2:45 LOL love the editing and sound effects
