I'll be honest. It's such a bummer it's not a light Greatsword. We don't need another Moonveil and there are only thee LGs while one of them is a dual wielded! It doesn't even look like katana to begin with. Why we don't have an arcane katana, or a faith one. No, we need another God damn int/dex katana... It's pretty good tho, I'm not going to lie 💙
I mean tbf it Doesn't look like a greatsword either it could only have been passed as a katana, straight sword, or curved sword and it has vergil esq animations so makes sense why its a katana. Also its only one of 2 int/dex katana's there's, more LGs than int/dex katanas, the meteoric ore blade is a strength weapon thats the only other int katana in the game. a faith katana would be cool(personally that lightning dragon katana in the base game should be a faith weapon but wtv) and i think they are holding back on another arcane katana because we have one called rivers of blood and that shit made a bunch of people angry for no reason(unless u played pvp)

Well, from what I can gather in the vid, the passive bleed build up is the same for both but, it won't have the same reach as the Nagakiba but it's ash of war makes up for that. Like many things, give it a try yourself and come to your own conclusions. Personally, I would say this isn't that much of a drop-off. It's at least worth checking out.

When I learned of THIS one's existance, I was like:' I HAVE to get this, as soon as possible!' This Katana can't fit MORE right than it does! SO happy right now, Thank You again! So just wanted to put this out there but I’ve run across a bug where if you end up dying and also killing the npc with the sword it will bug out and not spawn the sword the next time you kill the npc since I assume the game thinks you picked up the sword the “first” time and will instead spawn a starlight shard.
Are you sure you ran all the back PASSED the cave on your right until you reached Demi-Human Queen Marigga at the shore line? This is a full on boss battle not an npc fight. Just wanted to mention just in case because I fought an npc in cave nearby and was super bummed i didnt get the sword at first. Hope this helps!
in terms of damage the Moonveil is still better,the only thing good about the star lined is that it has new move set and it looks better,i took it to +10 and dome some tests but the Moonveil still rocks,even the blood loss is better on Moonveil.

@@texmark8719Basically all dlc weapons are really bad, nothing you would want to use in higher ngs...or (lets be honest) at all. They need a buff... but Fromsoft just likes nerfing more then buffing, i assume most of them will stay useless.

If anyone is wondering it’s not that great. Moonveil is still better because I upgraded it to the max hoping it would be better and it’s not. It needs a buff badly to make it the best. Moonveil only got a damage nerf in PVP before any noobs bring up the recent patch!!!

The New dlc weapons are extremly weak...dont let the cool movesets fool you, the dmg is terrible. Nagakiba wins no diff.

Are you sure you ran all the back PASSED the cave on your right until you reached Demi-Human Queen Marigga at the shore line? This is a full on boss battle not an npc fight. Just wanted to mention just in case because I fought an npc in cave nearby and was super bummed i didnt get the sword at first. Hope this helps!
