They clip it on the handle of the tail stock silly. That way the electricity only goes through the part that is being welded. I've read the same hysterical comment before so tell me you don't know anything without telling me you don't know anything.... Since the bearings and gears are not welded, then you can calm down your fears...

Не думают о том,что работая болгаркой- Angular grinding machine абразивный материал летит на претензионный поверхности станка. И много что еще можно сказать...
So instead of replacing the whole tube, they are dodging that driveshaft with a 300mm patch, it's a terrible job no matter where in the world you're doing it.
@@peatmoss4415 The tube should have been replaced whole and with a thicker Drawn Over Mandrel tubing since the original tube broke in the first place. Also, with more welds on top of old welds and a weld in the middle of the shaft it will be weaker. Thats what should have been done. But these guys are poor for sure and only want to get back on the road as cheaply as possible, so the minimum amount was done. But, in the end, the chances of this driveshaft giving out again are very high.

After such repairs, this shaft will beat and break the bearings if it cannot be balanced
