Torpedo has never looked this bad ass. I don’t remember having his 3 3/4” figure. I did have Wet Suit. This is a fantastic figure. He has all of that Navy Seal swagger. Those soldiers are too specimens. This figure shows a character ready to get in, do the job, and get out. Torpedo in the Sunbow cartoon has the island mellow vibe. Wet Suit was the no nonsense guy in the cartoon. Wet Suit also had that orange pop of color more like a marine biologist would wear. So I kind of see a mixing of the two characters with this Torpedo’s face sculpt. Of course Wet Suit also had the portable dive drone unit which propelled him into action faster. I can’t wait to see Cobra Eels or the more flamboyant hydro-vipers. Good stuff!
They have done a fantastic jon reimaging the character. The Eels is going to be such an awesome addition to the line. Appreciate the great comment. Thank you very much.
Yeah he's a plain figure but there are just some little additions that make him pop! I never had the vintage version of this character but had a few Action Force ones. The shape of the body and he look of the suit on him took me right back to bath time!
Another great review! Love the flight stand at the end for an original pose for him! Stick the harpoon under HOT WATER… it will soften.. and then you can easily straighten it out. Covergirl’s shotgun arrived like a banana for me! All fixed now! You can even use the hot water to soften hands for gun stocks and such.
Oh hopefully not. I heard an interesting theory that its retailers distribution that is the real delay for the US market. Fingers crossed it's not a long wait.
I watched Dan Who's review of this fig. Enjoyed it so much I watched your's as well. Excellent looking figure. I can see em reusing it for Cobra divers or generic Joes.

That's great that you did this video. Did you edit the beginning showing the original action figure card art along with your nostalgic bits of divers? I think it would be great if you could also include it to show the collectors and fans the transition of the original and today's now!
I always try to include some story for why I wanted the modern version. Will certainly take what you said and try add in a little more vintage artwork.
LOVE the Classified line is my favorite by far but they're driving me nuts with the boxes!!!!... 4 changes in 3 years, i wanna display them (properly) on my shelves but it messes with my OCD
Yup very valid argument. I was thinking the same thing when I got these. I loved the design for being windowless but why change the design already? In box collectors are really getting a tough deal from Hasbro.
This was one of the figures that I thought would be nice but was on the fence about. The real breaker was the ab crunch which I REALLY despise!!! Even though I had pre-ordered it, I think through the restock though, it hadn't shipped yet, so I checked your review & decided to cancel. Next day I got an email from Hasbro saying it will now be shipping in August
Hard to tell but he seems to have the large eyes like the last wave. But since we don't have a smaller eye version to compare like Outback, it's harder to say whether or not that's true. They just seem extra large than usual
I was wondering if they had done would the Google’s needed to have been larger? By using the paint app it does allow some freedom in moving them around the figure in certain head poses. However no getting away from the fact that clear goggles would have looked epic.
Seems you guys are getting the Artic BAT and the Jedi Rebel trooper at the moment. Strange the way the waves come out so early in some places and so late in others. Hopefully you won’t have to wait too long.

I thought they were ok and I was impressed with the face seeing most of the head is covered. Maybe they are his eyes when he spots a shark!

I think they are pretty close. That said I never had Torpedo. Just a few of the Action Force Scuba’s. They were certainly different colours.
