I agree with you that if we got the original first, most collectors wouldn’t care about the Tiger Force version. In my case, I would only pick up the classic look now on sale as I’m fine with my TF one.
I feel like all characters should have a sidearm and knife. I guess Hasbro thought 4 rockets was enough. I'll be picking up the og. Only enough space for one of the versions. Thanks for the review.

Funny how I check to see what's out first watching you before I go on the website and see what they have. LoL. I plan on getting both of them. 2 each! Each one to open and the other two to just sit there and be collected unboxed. Maybe 20 years from now, they will be worth a good amount
I have decided to separate sub-teams. I am picking him up...when he releases officially in the states; Sept 1st. In fact, I was going through the entire Greatest American Hero line up, year by year and comparing it to Classified. They seem to mostly be releasing figures made between 1982 - 1987. They are only doing the team repaints from 1988-1989. With one original figure being released from 1989, 1990 and 1991. No original figure released from the 1988 line up O_O. Hasbro has been even handed to a degree releasing from the original first 6 years, focusing more on 1985. Just for fun, based on everything from name-reveals, render reveals, and actual releases; here are the tallies within that 6-year line up: 82' - 9 of 16 83' - 9 of 15 84' - 9 of 19 85' - 16 of 26 86' - 10 of 26 87' - 7 of 40
Thank you for the review. Your probably correct. Had this design came out first, the tiger force version would not have sold. All four bazooka rounds should have been painted, would have added even more to this version. This elbow color thing really catches your attention.
The gummy plastic is probably my biggest complaint about Classified (other than too many exclusives). Vintage ARAH figures would stay rock steady until their O-ring perished, which could take 30 years. Then again, they did have a tendency to lose their thumbs or crotch areas.
Love your reviews! What might help your Bazookas to stand up better, is to turn around their calves. The shielded section should be in front, and straps in the back.
I hate it when hasbro doesn't include either a backpack with straps or a harness but i bought some extra harnesses from Tiger force outback which fixes that issue. Hopefully in the future hasbro wont include backpacks without some kind of straps because it's visually annoying

There is no significant difference. Other than paint. And yes the red shirt is the original color. But if you have no attachment to the figure then any version is good enough. Also I like the paint scheme for the TF pants version. The color break up is nice. As for the biggest mis on both it would be him having no sidearm. Not even a knife. Wave 1 figures at least had 1 side weapon..Scarlet came with 3 knives, Roadblock 1 knife. At least something. A pistol with a holster on the leg as bare minimum. There should be a middle ground between cartoon, 80s toy and modern take. This figure is way too heavily 80s toy accurate.
I like the classic colours, but Tiger Force is a better figure. Better plastic. My classic version is like yours. Had a lot of trouble getting him into a good standing pose. Something is off with the plastic. Also agree with you about the scrap iron effects not loking good, and it's weird that he doesn't have a sidearm.

Tiger Force has the better plastic quality - regular Bazooka is just too gummy. However, I grew up with the classic red color, and the print on the missiles is a very nice touch. So yeah, I'm gonna have to dispose of TF Bazooka.
What the hell?!? The skin tone on the elbow joints doesn't match the color of the upper and lower arms. Hasbro had the same issue with the 2nd Outback figure. Another miss on the part of Hasbro. Absolutely no excuse for that. Easy pass.
I passed on the Tigerforce version, because I knew the red jersey was on its way. I’ll pick up a red jersey version.

I'm just going to pick up whichever version of Bazooka I see first at my local shop. I like them both but don't plan on doubling up
I prefer the look of the new one, with it's richer colours.
A harness to plug in the backpack would've made sense to me

I'd go for the TF. The red/original color is kind of boring now except for the colored missiles. 😅
