Enabling Write Cashing in the Device Manager > Disk Drives > Properties > Policies menu for the NVME external drive may increase read write speeds you are getting on Windows.
Interesting... Until now, I only used ready to use products like the Samsung T9. But thinking about custom solutions brings up some nice ideas. Thank you.
Your channel is class. When i wished someone did a comparison video of 2 products im considering buying, like 2 weeks later you've got the video for the exact products . My tech spirit animal 😂😅
@theTechNotice I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP. I'm building a pc and I can't decide about cpu. What would you suggest for video editing (davinci) i7 14700k or ryzen 9 7950x ? I'm planning to use rtx 4080 super. Your answer would be appreciated :)
While I prefer AMD 7950 for computation and gaming the 14700K is most probably the better choice when you are looking at video editing. The integrated video support is often used by video edition software and here the AMD processors can't compete. I'm not a Davinci user and not really all that involved in video editing, but the tests I've read and the videos about the issue I've seen seem to say that i7 and i9 processors spank the AMD competition when doing video editing and rendering video files.

the first one has a door you are supposed to open when running for the fan
Looking at reviews looks like that fan noise is going to drive me crazy….
I switched to the DOCKCASE Pocket M.2 2230 NVMe SSD Enclosure instead
the tiny fan is simply hilarious
I know right... :)
I wonder how long it will last.

The tab on the side of the sharge case is for write protection, not a lock of the sliding glass.
@3:72 you're supposed to open the clear door when in use. Do some research.
One of the coolest videos I've watched lately 👏 super useful stuff.
Happy to hear that!
I’ve looked for a 2230 enclosure and found exactly this 2 ones and I wasn’t sure if they were worth it, now I have the answer
Do you have a Liverpool accent in there? I an hear North West England, maybe a lancashire accent?
Never thought I would see a thumbdrive with a fan on it

7800X3D for Gaming
7950 for resolve. Or wait a few months and go for 9950 😂
i7 14700k
Thank you guys
Thank you for doing this video. I don't understand how M.2 SSD's can fit in there as they are too long?
The 80mm long NVMEs are the most common ones.
The ones he used are only 30mm long, which are also available in 2GB and 4GB versions.
@@hagen.360 Thank you. I did not know there were smaller sized M.2 drives!
Yeah there are few different sizes!
@@hagen.360TB not GBs
@@theTechNotice Thank you. I literally did not know. I thought it was usual size you put on your Motherboard. Love your work. :)
Very interesting
Glad you think so!
