Are they also filipino? We cooked differently here in Davao City, we cooked the meat and other ingredients then wrapped it. I think they arw Vietnamese? Not sure.
@@missdavao846 They are Filipino. We also make with cooked ground pork and veggies, wrap with the whole square wrappers, freeze after wrapping 100, then fry, dip in soy sauce, vinegar and garlic! 😋

I LOVE lumpia, especially banana lumpia with strawberry ice cream smothered with chocolate syrup or honey and sprinkled with Mac nuts. My tummy is crying now cause it wants some.
I love her style my multiple time watching this, she shows you the greatest care, passion for her technique passing it down. She is beautiful and you are too. Nobody shows you their magic touch unless they feel you’re incredible too.

my sister-in-law's Filipino I swear this video just made me miss home I'm from California and she used to make these all the time and all of our family events
These look so good. Learned to make these from a friend but I like the way you roll them big & the cut them. I’m Mexican and she’s Filipino nd every year at Christmas time we exchange my tamales for her lumpia. Both homemade big hits for both families . We’ve been doing this for over 30 yrs. I love them do you have a recipe for the dipping sauce I usually just buy the dipping sauce but I’d like to make my own if I had a good recipe. Thanks in advance
My fav ! My mima was from koror Palau and I miss the house smelling good with all her food but the lumpia was everyone’s fav . There is a Philippines store close to my house and the lady there makes them to order and they are so good
Aww, this brings back such amazing memories of when I lived in the Philippines! I was just knee-high to a grasshopper then but our housekeeper/babysitter, Zinny, made the most scrumptious lumpia almost every weekend! I miss her so much! Thanks for sharing!
Nice to see multi generations working together! When I was in the Navy our MR1 use to make this for our pot luck parties. They were sooooo good. He also made balut...that didn't go over as well😄

Lumpia is the best stuff on the planet! Whoever first created it needs a Noble Peace Prize for their gift to all of humanity!

So much better than egg rolls. My Lola makes 1000s at a time. We all leave with dozens frozen for when we are missing her
Their lumpia making is so organized!
I love how everyone's in there learning together
Takes a lot of people to make them! Time consuming to make and little time to devour
