I watched The Sopranos for the first time ever last year. I was impressed how it got better and better with each season. I had to put on subtitles while watching it because of the thick Long Island accents and the Italian slang that I didn’t know 😂 Excellent show. The gnocchi looks delicious and I agree that ricotta gnocchi is superior to potato gnocchi.
It took us a while to get into Sopranos too but now that we’re halfway through the last season we’re really gonna miss the chaos. Love your Friday vids! This one was Tony approved

The first thing I made for my family as a child (beyond salad dressing) was banana cake. The first batch was so stodgy because I licked too much of the creamed butter and sugar mixture, and I felt ill. The second lot I mostly refrained from eating the mix and the cake turned out well😅

I’d always helped her but decided while she rested, I’m gonna do it… she came downstairs that evening to everything being prepped and was so grateful. Cleaned and seasoned meat, peeled and prepped veggies… the works. I was about 13 years old 😂 was pretty chuffed

Trust me on this one, instead of the passata just grate some big red juicy tomatoes. It needs very little time on the stove and elevates the flavor 100 fold. It's perfect with gnocchi.

BUT, speck is something that since I’ve had it, I can’t go without anymore as far as cured meats go; it’s up there with coppa for me now, so I don’t even really buy prosciutto anymore 😯 👀 edit: have you ever tried speck?
so ‘they’ do always say “it’s always in the last place you look” but like…duh? why would you keep looking once you’ve found it? so I just can’t help laugh at that phrase now lol
My first cooking memory was pancakes for my brothers when I was 8 or 9. I got frustrated and impatient and ended up calling them scrambled pancakes. I figured the PB & J & bananas would mask the half cooked mangled pile I put in front of them. Lesson learned, we're a waffle household now 😂
