Wynntils is such a necessity imo it should just be added to the game.. the mini map and in game map alone are great features but the gear comparison, tooltips, spell keybinding etc. make the game so much better

just got back to wnncraft after 3 years, and it changed much, i no longer need Qol mods, as the overhuled ui and everything does the job for me. So nice to see the server not declining like others do, but getting better because care if still boing put into it, both community and server-wise.

I started playing 1 week ago after years of not getting into it. I never understood what to do or find a purpose to play the game. With the help of this video I finally found the motivation to keep playing and start to understand the game. Thank you!
Olinus, as a long time newby, and now my boyfriend has just started as well, we could use better explanation and help with our gear. We hear terms but if you find an explanation, its vague. He wants to b a paladin, but we dnt really know where his skill points need to go. We are around level 30, and we fight in the crypt outside neaaac and the bone throwers wipe him out in seconds. We re-did his skill points many diff ways. Were using as much of the armor u hav recommended. Still gets his butt kicked. There are terms that are used and as new people who dont know what thy mean. We dont understand how the skills work beyond the basic explanation. Or how our elemental stuff works im conjunction. And as the final note to anyone who makes videos, some people are dyslexic and so making videos explaining how the stuff works is super helpful to those people. Thanks for all that you have contributed.
paladin is a good archetype for survivability. now skill points to invest in to further help with survivability would be fire/defense and air/agility they do the following: defense lowers how much damage you take from a hit agility increases a chance to dodge a hit now in your ability tree, the right hand side would have the paladin abilities. one important one would be "mantle of the bovemist" which summons floating shields around you when casting war scream (right-right-left) and they work like agility and lets you dodge hits. now armor is a tricky subject. because the item system can be very complicated, but the most important advice i can give on that is to constantly look at what stuff you get and switch gear when you find something better. better is usually something with more health and then some identifications like: mana regen, spell damage, melee damage, health bonus and health regen. and it can be useful to switch up your skill points every now and then if it lets you equip a better piece of gear. however, for survivability, try to invest at least a few points every now and then into defense and/or agility :)

I think it should be mentioned that this server is only available on the Java edition of Minecraft, and not the bedrock edition. also the Wyntills mod doesn't work with anything after 1.12 edition. I've tried, and it's not compatible which sucks cause an in-game map would be so incredibly helpful. I'm kind of surprised they didn't add one in the 2.0 version.

theres not really a way to make the scoreboard smaller other than changing the entire GUI scale in the video settings :p however wynntils has a custom scoreboard thing for objectives that sorta takes less space :p
Well yesterday tried to do a hich run thinking i can do it but instead died in infested pit and the redo all over again several times until now and keep dying from a stupid things, perhaps i will wait for 2.0 and see what video do you have in this premire then redo my HICH for real

the only NPC vendors you will really need to be aware of is blacksmith for selling gear you dont want and the item ID guy. all the other merchants (in towns etc, im not talking about dungeon merchants and market NPCs, scroll and tool merchants!) are garbage.
I mean it really depends on what you need, adding elemental powders to your armor can sometimes result in huge damage bonuses, not everyone plays mage or crafts so they'll need potions and players who struggle getting gear need a backup alternative :)
I'm praying you somehow see this question: At what levels do you gain ability points? I can't find the answer ANYWHERE for some reason... the wiki says you gain them "by leveling up" which isn't specific... help meee!
You start with 1 at lvl 1 and you get more at different levels, to see when you can get the next point hover over the little blue ball in the ability tree menu, it says when the next point is. When you level up it will also say in chat how many more levels to the next point. It's sometimes every two levels but it can vary.

Yea wynntils is currently only for 1.12.2, but soon all the mods and modpacks I've mentioned will be available for 1.18.2
But if you use wynntils in 1.12.2 in the current update there still is a minimap

Well crafted items can be really good, but most players aim to get builds with mythic items in endgame

I'm praying you somehow see this question: At what levels do you gain ability points? I can't find the answer ANYWHERE for some reason... the wiki says you gain them "by leveling up" which isn't specific... help meee!
You start with 1 at lvl 1 and you get more at different levels, to see when you can get the next point hover over the little blue ball in the ability tree menu, it says when the next point is. When you level up it will also say in chat how many more levels to the next point. It's sometimes every two levels but it can vary.
