Just bought 2019 MacBook Pro for 400$, battery was not good anymore bought one for 59$ replaced it and I now have a very nice computer. Opencore Legacy made my computer up to date and still work pretty well for a 7 years old computer
Bro . I also want to buy 20119 MacBook Pro 16 inch excellent quality . 16 gb ram 1tb storage. Excellent quality. What could be a good price??plz reply 😊
I put in Windows 11 in my Macbook Pro 2015 15-inch Retina for a dual OS. Excellent laptop for office work and entertainment - way better in durability and aesthetic than many newer laptops.
Solid vid. To anyone thinking of buying a 2015 MBP, just get the i7/16GB/2.8Ghz 15 inch or the 3.1ghz/ i7/16GB 13 inch version respectively. They’re both still fast enough for 90% of most consumers. I’d also recommend getting an OWC Aura x 2 SSD as they’re custom built for MBP and have insane read and write speeds. They also have no issues when in sleep mode compared to the Samsung 970 EVO Plus and 980 SSD’s range. You'll have easy use for the next 2yrs no problem. Maybe even longer if you opt for an OpenCore Legacy patcher if you want to try the latest macOS. Monterey is more than fine and I've stuck with that and still use it myself still. To fix the 'Staingate' screen issue, just use Listerine or baby wipes to get the anti-glare coating off.Prb take about 40-60 mins of wiping if that. Plenty of vids on here for demos…✌️
THANKS for the great info for the budget customers! I love that you gave us a wide range of prices. I ended up going with the the MacBook Air M1 new from Walmart for $699. With Apple Care (total around $950 with tax, etc) I don't think of this as a "budget" option in my mind but it was safe. Best Buy had some refurbished for $599 too which seemed like a great deal!
Hey man- never been to your channel before. But I never even thought about buying a used one off of Amazon. Just placed my order- can’t wait for it to come in!
@@TerrysTechTips what would you go for in terms of value for money? found these from a local reseller: 16" MBPro 2019 I7 16GB 500GB for 850€ VS 13" MBPro 2020 M1 16GB 512GB for 1050€ VS 13" MB AIR 2020 M1 8GB 256GB for 750€ doing design work using figma and adobe creative cloud, hobby music production using ableton, light casual gaming
Under 200$ definitely dont buy macbook air 2015! Go for macbook pro's a1398 or a1502, even 2012 macbook pro without retina with i7 and upgradable ram to 16gb will be better.
Air m1 with 16 gigs of RAM and m2 base air are around the same price range in the used market. Confused between the 2. Want something I can keep for 4-5 years.
@@nikkiwasher7235 I checked out both in flesh and felt that M2 feels much newer design wise (at least for me). Also I liked the webcam better but not the speakers on M2. I also prefer the screen on M2 more, so will do with M2.

I’m actually buying one today. Thanks for letting me know that I’m making a good choice.

It’s hard to find these for good prices that still get the latest updates. Enjoy your new computer.
OCLP(OpenCore Legacy Patcher) is also an option for older macs so dropping support isn't really a concern
I buy the Macbook Pro Silver 2017 16gb 13 inch for only 280 usd and this macbook is very good all working so good!

Awesome! Thank you for starting to watch my vids. Enjoy your laptop!
currently looking for a 2020 m1 - can't find a used 16gb version under 1000€ :/
Yes it’s hard to find these with more ram. In some ways you’re better off getting a base m1 14” pro.

Hi
Which should i get
MacBook air m1 or
MacBook pro 2018 15 inch 16 ram 512 ssd touch bar
Air m1
What do you think of MBP M1 pro chip for around $900?
That’s a good deal. Just make sure you test and check everything.
Walmart has them for $600

I didn’t see the link to buy
There should be links in the description
Do you consider the M1 macbook air 7 core 8gb($570) to be better that 2019 i7 16gb? ($450)
For Video editing and Graphic design?
100% because it runs cooler and faster. Went from the same build.
Yes I would
What about overall? Which would be better ?
8 gb of ram is rather low though,
good comparison!
just got a m1 air for $450 off eBay excellent condition

I’ve been looking at the same two.

moral of the story is that you only get a good laptop if you have 700 or more dollars :(
there are decent windows laptops for under 700
Yeah I know I specifically meant for macbooks. Also u can get a good windows laptop for 500 even
I want the MacBook Pro 2020 lol for a good price refurbished preferably by Apple but would consider Best Buy 🤣
Forget all these laptops. Can find a m1 MacBook Air for like 350-450 on marketplace. Intel Macs are complete trash.
