Yesterday i took my 97y.o. mom to the mine, we purchased a bag to go, she spends hours sorting through the tailings, money well spent and hours of enjoyment by her. So far the biggest is a nicely formed 3" quarts crystal.
I love that, "Elaina describe this step -- We scoop dirt into the bucket!" LOL. Wow, that was quite a haul of gems. Those fused quartz pieces are very cool looking. Looks like you had an amazing time. Thanks for sharing. Take care and be safe!
