    People like to rag on Branch’s form. I understand, I agree that it’s pretty much horrendous. But don’t forget that he’s a multiple time Arnold Classic winner and has been top 10 in the Mr. Olympia many times. This is how he likes to train and it’s gotten him pretty damn far.

    I find pre-exhausting my muscles with resistance bands, lighter weights and loads of reps, means I don't need as heavy a weight to grow muscle. I used to train exactly like this, but I found that over time it's just not sustainable. I'm no longer tearing my joints to pieces. I'm injury free and I look A LOT better. Branch can do this because he takes things that make him recover very quickly, but for your average everyday 'Joe Blow' I don't recommend this style of training if you want longevity. It's great to watch though.

    For any newbie lifters watching this, this type of training is all fun and good but I'd watch the way Dorian Yates lifted in the "Blood and Guts" series. Always remember to slow the negative, don't use momentum, and focus on the squeeze. That will help you get to failure with relatively lower weights. Best for muscle growth and preserving joints. High intensity doesn't always has to come with sloppy form. Although, this is way better than Branch and Jonnie Jackson's videos where the form and technique was straight up ego lifting.

      SouthDetroit Entertainment it's called Maximum Advantage Grips (MAG Grips). They got a website you can buy them from. I use them a lot and they feel much better than traditional pull down attachments

      SouthDetroit Entertainment no problem brotha! I’m lucky that the gym I workout at had a member purchase the complete set for the gym. Tbh you only need two grips. One close grip and one medium grip. You can flip the attachment if you want to do underhand pulls. If you’re like me and have short arms the long one won’t really work for you. I think they run between $30-$40 for one grip. I plan on buying my own soon so that when I leave my gym in Hawaii and go back to the mainland I’ll always have them handy

    Sloppy form , mind muscle connection not there. Too much throwing, heaving, pulling with the hands and arms rather than leading w elbows maximum contraction. I suppose w all the damn gas these guy take you can build muscle w any damn form.
