The things that make Metallica riffs really difficult can be achieved through weight lifting, good diet, and lot of wanking. Dave is more of an intellectual even though he's very immature at times. Takes a lot of Jazz and heroin to get on Dave's level. XD
@@ofadetergentsud Dave's songs also tend to have much deeper meanings which I like. I'd agree that his riffs are much more technical to play. Most of Metallica it seems you just have to downpick incredibly fast or gallop.
I will never understand how it is possible to memorize all the incredibly complicated songs. Megadeth were an are still great.
This live sounds so clean and well mixed... This one's for the sound engineer 🤘🏻🙏🏻🤘🏻
Seriously. Perfectly captured.
@@paulvaladao8873 this gig was HEAVILY edited and dubbed. Daves voice sounded nothing like this at the time it was filmed.
@@mickelboy182doesn't make it bad though. Even though he re-recorded the vocals, it sounds good and matches the vibe.
@@luiznickel sure, but it very clearly isn't the live mix.
@@mickelboy182tbh most live albums have a lot of post production work done on them.
I wore this cassette tape out in my Walkman when I was in the Gulf War.
Thank you sir for your service......
Puts a lot of strain on Daves voice to sing that high for a whole concert.
seth arnold pre recorded Vocals
Madison Cooper I was at the show he didn't sound exactly like this look for the same performances but a regular camera footage
@@TheLambchopper the vocals werent pre recorded he performed live just like always but he
re-recorded the vocals (and maybe some guitar) in the studio to make it perfect for the album and film
I think they mixed the live vocals with the re-recorded studio ones for the final release
Other than 4:41 they did a good job of not showing Dave with re-recorded parts
His was still in good shape then, he has been struggling lately but he's still making incredible music.
79 dislikes... Have people lost their minds?? This live performance of the greatest Master"Peace" of all heavytime is EPIC!!!!
79 deaf people
I don't even notice the dislikes, I just enjoy the music.
They are Metallica fans.......
It’s from Lars and his 78 ghost accounts.
Metallicats most probably
Damn I love how Dave sounds in Rust in Peace, so close to the album and he sings the lyrics super clearly
The sound mix was so damn amazing for this!!!
Шикарная работа Megadeth умноженная на шикарную работу операторов. Потрясающе !!!
Seen this a 1000 times and I still can't get over how tight they are. No easy feat. \m/
So intricate and precise. I'm actually glad he left Metallica because we wouldn't have this ear candy. Best live band on the planet.
*got fired from Metallica
I freaking love the MEG-A-DETH chant during Hangar 18.
I cant believe how great this is. This is among the BEST heavy metal shows ever ever video recorded.
dave mustaine is the man, guitar god so is chris broderick.
i hear megadeth for first time in 2014... It's 2019 and i still love my guys. This is art.
Not bad for a surfer kid from San Diego... Prolific musician, lyricist, composer & performer... Simply the best Metal has to offer...
Oh yeah .. and he's got black belts in Ukidokan Karate and Taekwondo as well as a purple belt in Brazilain Jiu-Jitsu.
If you don't play an instrument you will never be able to fully appreciate this album...there is no way
I don't play an instrument, do you mean one can't appreciate how tight and in time they are? I know they sound good.
Judy Johnsen you can appreciate it a lot, but not as much as if you were a musician due to the technicality of much of it plus playing this album straight through is a hell of a workout!
Matt Schwarz
DoEs tHe cLaRiNeT CoUnT???
Lol
Let's shit rules here
Tell that to the producers that don't play an instrument yet bring out the best in a band's playing.
Какая красота!!! Лучше чем студийник!!!!!!!! Браво, ребята!!!!!Наконец-то я нашёл лучшее исполнение любимого альбома!!!! Просто в восторге!
Don't bother with comparations in talent, quality, popularity etc... This is essential!
Dave and Chris sound really great here together! Actually, they all sound killer.
Awesome performance Huge respect to Dave and the band. Broderick nailed it.
Take no prisoners is my personal favorite of the album
Take No Prisoners is my #1 in the album
Same. Five Magics is a very close Second and then Poison.
I just can't express how much this band resonates with my frequency!
I saw them in Brussels in 1997, same perfection, absolutely awesome!!! ME-GA-DETH!!!
This is my dream megadeth setlist I love rust in peace it’s so good
9 years ago and im still watching. Easily Dave's greatest live vocal performance, sounded SO GOOD here. One of the greatest metal shows literally ever
Its dubbed
Overdubs after the show, you can tell he's not using as much air in the video
Show do caralho ! Um dos melhores guitarristas na minha opinião!! Dave !!
Thanks brother. Awesome show!
One of the best Megadeth ☢️ shows I have seen n I had to download it. The best thing I like about Megadeth ☢️ is the lyrics n the solos n the riffs,I love the riff in Lucretia.
When he get shirtless, we'all know he's enjoying the show!
Wish they'd turn Chris' guitar up.
Yeah the mixdown is a bit odd, I suspect it sounded different on the night.
During rythm sections the the lead guitar guitar is normally lower in the the mix than the rythm player then when it's time for the solo the lead gets boosted
in these full concert video the audio is weird. but the individual songs the official shout factory releases on their channel, the audio is fine.
@@sullybiker6520 I suspect Dave had something to do with the mixdown for the video lol
@@hardrokrulzjj "you may be better than me but I'm LOUDER" -- every single Megadeth show I've ever seen Dave's guitar is sometimes just incredibly too loud in the mix
75% of the crowd wasn't even born at the time of release of holy wars, Megadeth is timeless if you're metal head, and so far so good, you'd be 17 in 1988 to be long hair bad ass, I was 14 with my buds jamming Killing is my biz on boom box at the park drinking Southern Comfort and Lucky Lager in 1985, memories for life
Saw this lineup in Cleveland and remembered be in awe of how great this sounded. This video captures that perfectly. Dave’s voice was on and everything felt so fast and clean.
how can anyone dislike this... I dont get it..
E P I C
Such a pleasure to attend this tour. Slayer played all of 'Seasons in the abyss' as well.
Dave may have a few flubs, but man, Broderick is absolutely perfect throughout. crazy impressive
wish they had showed his hands during the Holy Wars break
Five Magic's my favorite song. All the twist in turns and speed change is very creative.
Yes, quite.
Those riffs in Take No Prisoners! 🎸🔥🎸
it is quite clear that the vocals have been overdub in a post studio edition like Motley did in carnival of sins 2005
I picked it up right away on the Punishment Due. I thought I was just being a smart ass in commenting on it.
It's a mix of re-recorded vocals and the original live vocals.
Over the years I grew to prefer Dave's solo over Marty's, especially in Five Magics and Lucretia. Marty's amazing for sure (and it's even more amazing that Chris pull it off perfectly live). But Dave's pentatonic chaos is pure THRASH, especially in a live setting.
Lucretia has two of the most kickass solos ever.
"pentatonic chaos" I am going to steal that 🤘
This is the best metal album ever. Anybody cant disagree on that
Ah hem...Peace Sells, cough cough
Master of puppets
If not reign in blood
How is nobody talking about how Chuck Billy from Testament came from backstage and sang the last part of Peace Sells!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This really is a high quality video of a great concert.
So glad i found this, blood in the water is epic but i needed a break lol
This is an absolute masterpiece. That five Magics solo was blistering.

Dave still had his voice here. Junior was back. Just awesome. Today: voice gone, Junior gone, not much left.
Hands down 1 of the top 5 thrash metal albums of the 90's
Of all time
🤘, lifelong Megadeth fan and seen them live a few times'. They always deliver and killer bass drums! Much respect! 🤘
Thanks for the download, great show, however Nick is really missed, not a bad drummer but nowhere in Menzaz league, pitiful lack of double bass (THE signature Megadeth drum sound since Gar), and not enough dumming power in general, a shame
Lee Thomas yeah really, the ending to Peace Sells was nearly unlistenable
Podstęp Mistrzem I think the intro to rust in peace polaris was even worse
I agree, the drums are horrible. I’m not saying Shawn drover sucks I’m just saying that his drumming on this video is not what it needs to be for rust in peace.
Unfortunately nicks drumming was boring, he used the same beat on every song, and didn’t play the double bass that often, he definitely could have been better, but the truth be told, this is definitely there best album and Mustaine is my idol!!!
@@REDDRAGON666ful Are we listening to the same drummer and album? I re-listened to it, after about 20 since I bought it, and have to disagree with everything you say, Nick was an exeptionaly talented drummer, his beats on RIP are versatile varied, not boring or dull, and with heavy use of the double bass drum. If you doubt what I write, watch any live Megadeth video with Nick drumming and you'll hear what I mean.R,IP is my 3rd favourite album, following Killing is my Business and 'So Far So Good, So What!' Peace out
DUDE! Dave is just ripping through the intro riff during take no prisoners.
Thanks for uploading
This record is just mind blowing. The other “M” band couldn’t even play this much less write it. Just incredible 🤯
Dude, why compare? I fucken love Megadeth big style but have also spent a hell of a lot of great times in my life growing up with tunes from Metallica.
@@toddventura7191 I meant Meshuggah! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You must have not heard and justice for all. There's people who actually like both bands and refuse to get into you people's pissing contests
After watching some recent performances I can't believe how much difference 10 years has made in Dave's live vocal performance. Night and day compared to this tour where he sounded stronger than ever. And yes, I know he had throat cancer a few years back.
Один из лучших концертов группы. Дэйв в более молодые годы не вытягивал так свои песни, как здесь.
The way Chris plays Poison was the Cure is way different from how most people would. Way more efficient. Very cool to see.
In the end surprise! Chuck Billy (Testament) and Rob Dukes (Exodus) :)
Chuck indeed! It's kind of nice to see him on a megadeth concert
The madness of take no prisoners live and that precise is fucking insane. Five magics and Lucretia don't get enough love. Lucretia my absolute favorite track on that album and prob best solos
Broderick backing vocals on Trust are killers!
Saw this tour on their stop in detroit with SLAYER who did the complete album of Seasons in the abyss since it also turned 20. Phenomenal show. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Imagine if Dave had gotten Menza and Friedman back when he had the chance!!!
There is a new way, I was the first in line, and God did it ever work this time. Powerful. Immaculate. Beautiful.
This is the best vocal performance I have heard from Dave at a live show...OMG then this happened as I was typing. XD 4:41
