This is a drawstring bag... it closes safely even with just the strap. However if you believe that this is not safe for you, you can easily add a flap.

Oh the hand press you made for punching holes is mesmerising 🤣🤣 i could watch it for hours lol. What space are the holes? I need to buy the tools to punch the holes manually.
Awesome....it make me feel like I should also try it ...I loved the work and neatness.....the only thing I don't understand is....it's securing strips....I feel them naked.....they were not secured themselves.....the loop to tighten r open the bag can b fell down,like I think there must b some hurdle to secure that loop

Thank you! I didn’t use any textile. The leather is smooth (except of the stamped part). It’s a dying technique... I use a very small amount of dye and I barely touch the surface of the leather.
I have just ordered the press from etsy, but see you have other fittings for it the multiple punches. Can you let me know if it comes with them or if not where you get them from please. Thank you.

@@nordabrown3323 those are not snaps. They are double cap rivets and you need a setting tool or a press machine to set them on the leather. I don't show that in the video

Thank you... you will need much more leather for a deeper bag. Basically you keep the base and the handles the same size and scale up the round piece.

You can not use the same pattern for fabric... it wouldn’t work. You can use faux leather, but you won’t have the same result.
