Such a beautiful bag, the design, the attention to line flow, and the handle design. Looks like a $500 bag in some department store (if not more) and no were new the quality of materials or construction. And the pink is a gorgeous color, especially with the white thread and the contrasting brass rivets. And such an easy pattern, when you know what you are doing. ;-) :-) And the snap closure, actually ended up being a really nice addition!!!!

This is super informative, but it’s also just oddly relaxing/satisfying to watch something so pretty be made from start to finish. I’m nowhere near skilled enough to attempt a project like this yet, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. Also, being the girly girl I am, that pink color is just sooooo gorgeous! What an amazing gift for your sister!

I just finished making this bag for my wife, it was my first bag after a few wallets. I have to tell you it turned out wonderful thanks only to your great video and explanations. I kept coming back over and over to each section as I got to it and watched/listened to how you did specific things and was so helpful. I did not put the strap on at the end but it was surprising to me how great it turned out. I'm going to keep making this bag over and over, it's such a beautiful bag as others have described. After I finished this last night, both daughters demanded one as did my wife's friends who saw the end product. This should keep my hobby busy for a while, thanks to you.

I really appreciate the part where he mentions, because there are no other squares on the bag, shaping the pocket would make it look more balanced. I'm a graphic artist and similarly you can always tell great design when all the shapes and elements tend to follow the overall look and theme. Shows this guy really knows his stuff! I've seen many big brand companies slap a square slab pocket on the front of their curved handbags and I just facepalm.
