It may not have the Pop[py] sound that their more well-known hits had, but as far as showing off Ruffin’s vocal prowess (and the accompanying background Tempts) this pretty much highlights the range of emotion and nuances that lead singer David Ruffin was capable of. Maybe you need to hear it on headphones (without stop & start interruptions) some night when you’re experiencing something sad. This tune absolutely nails the feeling of anguish and heartache.

Yes, this is a Gem, perhaps when 1thinks of the Temptations My Girl comes to mind 1st, but Since l Lost My Baby is a classic sad song done by them, the lyrics to this song touches to the core of my heart, because I've been there in the heart ache of what is described in this song, l could go on and on about this great song, but hopefully whoever read this comment gets what I'm saying.
