Lieber Sportfreund! Habe einen "Calmato 60" seit 2006. Wirklich "ein Gutmütiger". Bisher, in all den Jahren mehr als 80 Starts und Landungen. Ohne Probleme. Super Modell, wirklich! Schöne Fliegergrüße aus Sachsen, Deutschland!
Many thanks for your kind comments. The Calmato 60 is indeed a great flying aircraft. I always intended to buy one but never got round to it. I'm just home tonight from the flying field with the Calmato Sports 40. The weather was perfect for flying. I have two Calmato 40s, this one with the fourstroke and another with a two stroke. They are two of my favourite planes. I'm glad to hear after all these years you are still enjoying your Calmato 60. I wish you many more successful and happy flights with your plane. Kind regards from Ireland.
@@easystar123 Greetings back to Ireland! I think it's great when we sports fans can communicate and exchange ideas over long distances! I have been pursuing my hobby for around 65 years. There are currently 16 aircraft in my "hangar". Motor gliders, V-engine trainers (10-20 cc), German aircraft (FW 190, 1.80 m; Fieseler Storch, 1.85 m; Me 109, 1.60 m...) 85% self-built. Best regards! Gerhard
Thank you Gerhard for your kind reply. Yes I absolutely agree with you one hundred percent , its fantastic that people who live miles apart and share interest in the same sport can communicate with one another and offer tips and advice and chat generally about this great hobby and sport of rc model aeroplanes. I'm not flying as long as you Gerhard , 65 years is a fabulous achievement to be involved in the sport of model flying and I congratulate you for that. I will turn 61 this year and I started flying when I was 22 back in May of 1986. So I'm flying 38 years now and I have loved every minute of it. I have 18 planes flyable in my hangar. They are mostly sport planes , but I do have a few scale planes including a P51 Mustang, a Cessna 177, a Beaver and a Piper Cherokee. The majority of my planes are internal combustion, I do have a few electrics also and one of those is a Multiplex Twinstar made in Germany that I have had for a good number of years and still flying well. I love the German warbirds from the second world war. They look great in the sky and if I was to pick a favourite it would be the FW 190, but I think they are all great planes. Kind regards, Aidan
@@chrisj8307 Nice country Sweden, when I was younger I enjoyed the music of ABBA. I have a brand new OS 52 fs still in its box. I bought it from a man in England who was retiring from the hobby.
It's a 12x6 master airscrew 3 blade prop. That is paired with my Saito 62. It makes for a good combination, though I have to say that in all my other planes that have the same engine it's a 12x6 two blade prop.

Aidan fantastic flying, could almost hear your boots squishing in the wet grass. Great video too, Jeff in LA USA
Cheers Jeff. Yes the grass is a bit long and will be getting its first cut of the year very shortly.

Flew mine yesterday on snow. Os 52fs. A fantastic Flying machine 👌
Good stuff Chris. Glad you enjoyed it. It certainly is a great flying machine and the OS 52fs would just be perfect.
@@easystar123 had it for +20 years but only flown a couple of times. Needs more attention 👌 Sweden btw

Nice flight buddy!
Many thanks.
Amazing video. Thanks for sharing.
Which engine is used here?
Thanks Jurgen for your kind comments. I used a Saito 62 on this plane. It flys it very well.
What size master airscrew 3 blade prop?

Is that model made by Kyosho? Keeping glow alive, good on ya.
