i absolutely LOVE this shoe...I think it's the best '85 ever made, by far. I just wish it had a fair release....I live in Kansas, so we don't even get this release in the state. Since it isn't a Collab, there's no "draw a box around a cat" style drop, either I'm basically at the mercy of snkrs, which I win ~1x a year ps hate the box
The leather on these shoes is actually better than the leather on most other jordans. It is thicker leather, so It feels different than the cheap smooth leather you get on the other shoes.

In the end I realised under EU law you can return purchases, so they had no choice but to accept the return. It took 6 weeks for the refund.
I love everything you do! The sound mixing on this one gets super loud when you're not talking and then I'm scrambling to turn up volume when you talk.

@@noorsetyoutomo9347 the heel structure isn't all that different between the 3 high 85's. They definitely fit differently than the regular Jordan 1's and in my case fit better and more comfortable even though the material is stiff and the shape is a different cut like the original og pair of Jordan 1's I had back in 85.
Try out some of the Foxtrot Uniform supplies for aging, they have great results and a lot less messy than the candle dye. Also amazing quality 85 replica aged laces as well!

Would you adivice Nike to use full grain leather for 85 retro , rather than using C grade corium leather with disgusting fake plastic coating with fake leather pattern printed on the surface ?
I like the idea of these, and they’re nice for sure. Why can’t Nike just stick to the colors Mike wore? That’s where I’m at, I want the Js Mike actually played in or wore.
Nvm, maybe it’s because certain people like the easier to break in thinner cuts of leather on the OG’s, and like their shape, versus others like me like the design and thicker leather of the 85’s more even though I guess I technically like both, so maybe just to have choices but I wish they made more 85’s
Originals have an aerodynamic shape that the 85 can't replicate, from the continued bulkier toe area and front upward bend. The leather also could be much better, it's stiff and not even as good as the '01.
i'm cool with the unaged sole because you can age them. but if they came aged and thats not your style its harder to whiten them
