    I personally love the samurai engine in centurion. There are 4 points that I believe made this version even better over pure and horus versions;
-the samurai engine immediately bridges into the centurion lines by being a 1-card synchro 12.
-auxila gets chainblocked, allowing you to safely search the appropriate centurion card.
-you had more access to lv4 tuners, and lv2 for when baronne was legal.
-if you play the karakuri dog and bureido then any samurai starter becomes full combo under your own shifter, while every other version of centurion explicitly needed to open emblema oath in addition to a centurion name in order to setup crimson + 12 under shifter.
How well do you believe that this version can play under fuwaross? The reason I finally switched off of this version is because you give your opponent more draws than you should thanks to tilting entrainment normally summoning directly from the ED if you didn't open another wakaushi in hand. The lines you're showing off are also interesting but it still gives a few more draws then I'd like due to having to go into accel stardust in order to complete the setup.
I'd also recommend running hieratic spheres and just dropping sky crisis. All the relevant cards it wants to floodgate are banned, and you need to bait out any and all forms of interaction from the sub 3k monsters before making it, as well as any backrow. Otherwise, this card has always been a death flag that unnecessarily prolonged a game for a few seconds. Despite fulfilling different roles, the hieratic is also a fantastic first turn play that can be made off of your centurion cards. Potent disruption that can either float into atrii for a draw if you have the GY setup, or provide immediate access to your bystial cards. Furthermore, by floating into your bystial cards, you're now able to make chaos angel on the opponent's turn with the field spell, should the matchup call for banishment over negation.

The Samurai engine now bridges perfectly into the Centurion lines by serving as a 1-card Centur-Ion Primera Primus, and it’s chain-blocked as well. If that doesn’t work, you still have another chance at a Synchro 12 by summoning Scales and going into the Accel line. The Level 2 tuners are also important-I like summoning Dis Pater in a lot of my games. I experimented with Karakuri Dog, Bureido, and even Urgent Schedule to play under Shifter, but it often wasn’t worth the deck space. Now, we can just summon Primus under Shifter using the SHS starters, making it much easier.
As I mentioned earlier, I was going second in these combos and focused on dismantling my opponent’s board using only SHS cards before even touching the Centurion combo. That’s where the strength of SHS really lies. When going first, there are many different lines to take, each with varying end boards. If your opponent uses Fuwaross, you can do the standard Centurion line, which only gives them 1 draw if you start with a Centurion card. If you start with an SHS card, you can summon Primus and then go into Auxilla, giving them just 2 draws-much better than what most decks can do under Fuwaross.
The Extra Deck is very flexible, and there are plenty of options to explore. I’ve tested Hieratic Spheres a bit, but I’ve never seriously included it in my decklists, which is why it doesn’t show up in my builds☺

supernova is really good against yubel as long as you have a way to negate phantom to stop from changing the effect

@Murasane You're right, but I never summon Supernova first. I always pair him with a negator like Cosmic Blazar.

Yeah if the new Mulcharmy card is going to be a staple in everyone's main deck, Centurion will likely become a very popular control deck in the upcoming format.

The new crystal clear wing is really nice in centurion. He can summon the level 10 crystal wing when taken out of the field, just like the chaos archfiend summons the chaos angel.

Yeah, I checked it out too, and it does look awesome. My only concerns are the extra deck space and the fact that if you have this guy and Cosmic Blazar on the field, it’s an easy target for Super Poly😊

@@HyroDeFlure not to mention that he can get droplet'd. Blazar covers more ground and banishes itself as cost, avoiding things like droplet.

Great video! Keep up the Centurion insight!
What do you think about the Punk engine as used in Jarrids video few days ago? Do you think it might e better than SHS?
Also what's your opinion about the Byatial engine with Lubellion and Regained? Most of the lists that topped somewhat recently played the engine. I'd argue that either Punk or SHS should br played and Bystial feels like something that can complement the deck as an independent engine (if you go over 40 even with SHS or Punk in combination to wash down the brick ratio)

Thank you! I agree, the Bystial engine has been solid because of its hand trap nature and draw power. It was especially strong in the pre-Rota format when Yubel and other Light/Dark decks were more prevalent. Now, with Yubel seeing less competitive play due to the new Charmy card and Fire decks on the rise thanks to Azamina's boost to Snake Eyes and other archetypes, Bystials remain good but not as dominant.
The new Centurion Synchro has definitely boosted the power of the SHS engine, and Punk also synergizes well with it. I personally like running a small 6-card Punk package with 3 Emergency Teleport, 1 Ziamin, 1 Foxy Tune, and 1 Deer Note. Just like the Superheavy engine, it can bait out a lot of interruptions. The choice between SHS and Punk really depends on preference since SHS doesn’t play Imperm while Punk does.
I’ll be posting more combos with the new Synchro soon, so keep an eye out for that!☺
