You still only need 1 crimson to play under nib since you jusy go end phase and then crimson, or if you get nibbed end of main you chain crimson so it returns anyway
I feel like Shifter will be a better side option going forward, not main-worthy anymore based on how much the newer cards rely on loading the grave or just landing there in general. Still, this is a solid start.
You're right. I used Shifter not only as a disruption but also as a benchmark to see how I should respond if my opponent played it against me. This was just for testing purposes, though. If I were to include Shifter in my main deck, I would likely run Bonfires as well.
@@HyroDeFlure 100% agree If you opt out of main decking it, Bystials would probably be the move because Fiendsmith is gonna be everywhere. That, or filling those slots with a third Nib and maybe 2 Crossouts
You don't have to play the new 4, emth, new emblema card, synchro rumble, or the counter trap. Instead, you can play 3 bonfires to maximize consistency and either 2 more hand traps or 1 agnimal candel as a bonfire target.
Thanks for pointing that out! Typically, when playing against skilled opponents, they’ll hold off on using Nibiru until you activate Crimson Dragon targeting Auxill. This way, they can eliminate not just the Level 12 monster but also Crimson Dragon, which many decks only run one copy of. Only a seasoned Centurion player would recognize the importance of using Nibiru one step earlier. This is still a very important combo to know if you want to get the level 8 synchro into circulation and have your crimson dragon be protected by cosmic Blazar. If you still feel this combo isn’t secure enough, you can stick with the old approach and keep the Level 8 as a backup in case Trudeau gets negated and you’re left with only two Level 4 monsters. However, doing so will leave you with a weaker board in the end😊
@@HyroDeFlure I feel that the new support gives much better follow-up and consistency for the existing bread-and-butter combo that doesnt lose to nib and droll like you pointed out 💪
I think the correct way to play around Nib is to summon Primera Primus with Phalanx on End Phase to Synchro into Crimson using Stand Up's effect. This forces you to give up on Cimelia, though.
I wouldnt personally use d shifter if your using all the cards that kinda want to grave especially if you dont have at least one bonfire the amount of times I've lost to my own d shifter and my deck doesnt use the graveyard as much as yours
Yeah, you're right. I was just testing Shifter with the new Synchro to see how it might work in different matchups. It's definitely situational, and I've noticed it can backfire, especially with how much this deck relies on the graveyard😊
But if he does thep primera primus in the grave will trigger to special and he will be able to summon at least trudea and quick synchro a legatia on the opp turn
I hate to say it, but you're mistaken. In this combo, right after I add the field spell with Primera, the opponent will likely use Droll. However, I can still continue by activating the field spell, placing Trudeau in the spell/trap zone, and then summoning her. After that, I use her effect to place one of the Level 8 Centurions in the spell/trap zone. From there, I can go into Auxilla and then place Primera in the spell/trap zone during the end phase. On the opponent's turn, you can continue playing. This is the classic Centurion combo that was used before the Level 8 Synchro was introduced😊
@@HyroDeFlure ok, we understand that centurion doesn't completely lose to droll but the point is that with 1 more HT you will only lose the game, in a meta where they play with 20 HT on top of a fiendsmith/snake our centurion is still lagging behind, but a good combo I'm just trying to be more realistic
@@carloshenrique-x6bno snake eyes deck uses droll as that would nerf themselves on their turn, they would have a max c or the squids to draw on the opponents turn instead of droll, same with any other deck with max c, you would tbh choose to have either droll in the deck or put it in the side deck and have main deck max c

Yes, that's true-on its own, it might not have much impact, but when combined with other interruptions, it can significantly increase the chances of surviving the battle phase😊

bro what if they just nibiru u after u use field spell effect? u can cimelia and thats ok but u lose the body and ur stack with primera primus no?
It replaces the effect so you don’t lose out on anything. It’s like the new yubel card

yes but you will heave to make though decisions on the extra deck

After activating Oath you are locked to Centur-ion monster so can not play Crimson Dragon

You get rid of the monster you put in S/T zone from field, you are good to go. 👍
Emblema locks the extra deck to only centurion
Just when you set a monster and that monster remain on field
