    And it should pop off!! Mine was made with an impact hammer it seams. With arthritis I need a pry bar. Too many parts to replace with better quality ones.. I was getting and have been getting that great foam. I stopped the foaming to brush and rinse. When I started again it immediately clogged. Temps in high 90s, it wouldn't clear, I gave up. Thanks for the details and good video. I'll try with dry hands to get that connector off and check the jet. But there was no indication of clogging, just minutes earlier it gave great foam.

    I have a MTM foam cannon from the old version and replaced the old bottle with the new one. I have never changed the orifice or the filter and still currently using it with foam… I tried removing the pin but it is not willing to come out. Should I replace any parts for it? I believe it has been over 4-6 years

    • @PoweredbyVeloci

      We offer full replacement part kits. As far as the pin, you may need a punch and mallet to get it out after it being in place for 6 years.

    I have this foam cannon, I bought it in the magnum kit with the sg28 gun at my prior workplace about 6 months ago. I use it on my daily drivers and with a lot of si02 soaps to keep up my ceramic coatings. I noticed the second to last time I used it globs of gunk coming from the draw piece. I took it apart and cleaned any gunk and it worked one time. I tried to use it again and now it’s not drawing at all. I have taken it apart and the filter was clean and there was no debris. Why would it still not draw any soaps? I always rinse it out throughly, and take the tube of the nozzle to let them dry out?

    • @PoweredbyVeloci
      @PoweredbyVeloci  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is possible for the filter to retain minerals from the water source that you can't see. If you've tried replacing the filter there may be more going on. Please contact our customer support team if you continue to have issues:

    What effect does changing the nozzle have?

    • @PoweredbyVeloci
      @PoweredbyVeloci  ปีที่แล้ว

      Changing the orifice or nozzle size changes the diameter of the inlet of the foam cannon, restricting flow or increasing flow. This, combined with PSI and GPM of the pressure washer, affects the quality of foam produced.

    I bought the Veloci SS filter today that yall use for this specific foam cannon, and I didnt notice much change in foam. When i first got the foam cannon i switched to the 1.1 orific and got the good amount of foam but now i have a cheaper orific with the Veloci ss filter and im not getting that good clingy shaving cream foam. Do i need to put yalls stainless steel orifice on the cannon also to get better outcome again?

    Which Power washer did you guys use ? I have a gas and an electric in my mobile set up if I run the 1.1 will it effect either ?

    • @PoweredbyVeloci
      @PoweredbyVeloci  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You will want to use the orifice size that best applies to your specific pressure washer. You will likely see better performance from a 1.25mm (3.5) orifice with gas pressure washer, and 1.1mm (3.0) orifice with an electric. Use our calculator to determine the best option for your specific needs.

    • @PoweredbyVeloci
      @PoweredbyVeloci  ปีที่แล้ว

      You may have issues given the 1.1 GPM. Specs of the PF22 foam cannon are:
      Min. 1,100 psi - Max. 5,000 psi
      Min. 1.4 gpm - Max. 5.3 gpm
      Max. 140°F

    I have a PF22.2 that leaks from under the top adjustment knob when tipped over, is that normal?

    • @PoweredbyVeloci
      @PoweredbyVeloci  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, there are air intake and relief ports to allow for proper operation. If you tip the cannons over, they will leak as the system is not airtight.

    Is there a possibility of harming the pressure washer when using a smaller orifice? Does this depend on output psi and gallon/minute?

    • @PoweredbyVeloci
      @PoweredbyVeloci  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If using an orifice that is too small you can place the p ump into bypass, which is ok for short periods of time, but excessive time in bypass can put unnecessary strain on the unloader and pump. Of course, the best practice is to use the correct orifice for your specific needs.

    • @jaaphoogendijk671
      @jaaphoogendijk671 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you for your answer! Would foaming a car using a smaller orifice have any substantial impact on the durability of a pressure washer? I understand you cannot guarantee anything, but what would your answer be? Since you have a lot of expertise👍

    • @PoweredbyVeloci
      @PoweredbyVeloci  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jaaphoogendijk671 You want to use the orifice that's appropriate for your pressure washer. If you desire more or less foam, it's best to adjust the chemical draw knob on the top of the foam cannon or your chemical/water ratio.

    I have the active ve52 pressure washer and was told the 1.1mm orifice could eventually damage the pump (Matt Mormon from OG also mentioned this in his active ve52 video) with the reason being the psi (1000-1100) and flow (1.8-1.9 gpm) out of the active pressure washer. From your experience, is this the case?

    • @PoweredbyVeloci
      @PoweredbyVeloci  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, this is something that may happen as the pump can overload, causing the pump to cycle on/off.
