Why is everyone on TH-cam trying to adjust the tension knob. Rtfm ppl! You don't adjust with tension of spool on modern casters. Set to eliminate play and utilize thumb skill and magnets
Yeah i like the matte black color it looks like a batmobile. What i dont like about cosmetics is the tatula writing on top of the reel. I also didnt like the brake dial. Daiwa should make it hidden so the side plate looks clean. Btw, the tension knob which daiwa call it zero adjuster is tight because you didnt need to adjust it. Just adjust the magnetic brake and cast without touching the tension knob.

I got the tatula ct 100 xs , very similar, love this reel.
I’m not sure what all the letters and numbers signify but there are a lot of different variations. No matter, I love this reel! Good luck out there!

@@jasonbozic8989XS signifies the higher gear ratio (8:1). For every one revolution of the handle, the spool goes around 8 times.
that specific reels tension knob is set from the factory and isn’t supposed to be moved !
