Have been to the Museum of the Atlantic, and the Cemetery. The Titanic section of the museum will either thrill you or freek you right out. The deck chairs and the child's shoes will make the hair on your arms stand up. Well worth the visit.
OMG - you guys are killing me!!! I like my pizza hot off the oven but stand & talk all that much while a nice hot pizza is getting cold. Tiny houseboat is really cute! As to what to do next, but just travel around Nova Scotia to show those of us who have never visited, so these type of excursions sound perfect for me. Yes, stay sensible and remain at home!!!

Where ever you go, keep safe. I would say stay in NS and do local travels. There seems to be lot to do there. That house boat is gorgeous. I’m super jealous. Stay in the Nova Scotia bubble until much more of the vaccine is distributed globally. I miss traveling too but after q3 of this year hopefully, we can all travel again freely.
One top doctor in the UK said vaccines will provide no benefit until next winter, a year away from now (I think he means vaccines will only knock down the third or fourth wave). There are plenty of uninfected people to keep the pandemic going through a couple more waves, and far too few vaccine doses are available.

Ok, because you asked... please remain in Nova Scotia! Embrace the fact that you are living in a fairly safe area, many are not. For those of us that can't travel right now, you have the opportunity to give us more content about what & where to go in and around Halifax or Nova Scotia in general. I work in a medical center so I've had the vaccine but due to the limited roll-out, my husband and family members have not. So, travel is out of the question for us right now. Hopefully, (thankfully) with our new president, there will be a real plan to get the vaccines out to the states quicker. Winter and this virus won't last forever, each day is one day closer to spring! Stay safe and stay well :)
Thanks Michelle 😀 It's so safe here and that's of course a big factor in us not wanting to travel. The thing is this travel channel is our job too. Staying put is the extra safe thing to do but it will put us and the channel in a tricky spot. It's a really tough decision as we certainly don't want to even think about shutting down the channel. - Trevor

I love your chanel! I was born and raised in Nova Sotia and left 19. As with may folks we take our own backyards for granted. I live seeing everything my home province has to offer and without question upon my retirement from the CAF with will be my home again. I encourage you to continue your safe travels around the maritime's during this pandemic You are great ambassadors of the province stay safe and safe travels whatever you decide.
BC resident here....I think you should just stay put. With all the new covid variants out there it’s just the right thing to do. Life will be back to a new normal soon enough. We had a dream holiday in the Maritime provinces a few years ago and we now wish we had stayed for longer. It’s so pretty and unique. We travelled from Vancouver to Toronto on the train (amazing), flew to St John and then drove around. Sister in law in New Brunswick was our home base. Loved Halifax (dang, your new place is in an amazing area!) and would just love to see more of the province. In the town of Liverpool there is a concrete statue garden that is amazing...have you ever been there? It’s entrance is at the back of a garden centre (Cosby’s) and it’s worth a trip. Please stay put....trust me, there are so many Canadians who have a maritime visit on their bucket list! Count yourselves blessed.
Stay home in Nova Scotia. We have a home there and couldn't be there last summer. I am obsessed watching videos of Nova Scotia. We miss it soooooooo much.
I really like the Nova Scotia videos. I had never considered a trip there but now think it would be a great option for the nature and charm. It's not what I expected.

just got back from Mexico, its totally fine, they are managing protocols etc very well. Yes we are in quarantine for 14 days but it was worth it to get 2 weeks of sunshine.

There is reclaimed wood which can be in any shape or form, and "live edge" wood, which is the bar and the shelves, which is the bark on the outer edge of the tree, left on for decoration. It could be reclaimed word as well.

Would love to see you travel throughout Canada. Maybe when the weather gets a bit warmer? Maybe meet up with some of the other Canadian TH-camrs? I recently got back from a trip to Arizona where we ate all of our meals outside and kept all of our activities outside. Lots of hiking. Brought snacks back to our rental and we always felt quite safe. Anyway, I will enjoy anything that you put on TH-cam! Would love to see Trevor polish off an entire dinner, on camera, someday!

If things get better, we plan to drive up to NS this summer. I’d love to see videos on Bay of Fundi, Dartmouth, Emera Oval, Yarmouth, and maybe your favorite breweries and places to eat lobster roll. I would probably stay put for obvious reasons but if you feel the need to travel, I suggest Kauai, Hi. I’ve read that if tourists don’t start showing up, a majority of businesses won’t make it. They are also in a bubble. They give you a wristband that tracks you and you must quarantine in a designated hotel for 3 days until you get a second negative test.
Also, forgot to mention in my previous comment. Really, like your Canada 🇨🇦 videos. Used to work for a Toronto based company and you both bring back such great Canadian memories that my partner and I have got Nova Scotia high on our list when we feel safe to travel again. I’m an artist and sometimes when I have a creative block I will restrict myself to use certain colours in a piece as an exercise in creating. I have made some of my best pieces doing this. Don’t view this situation as a negative thing but more of a creative exercise. So far you’re both doing great!
Yes, would love more views of Nova Scotia. I’m beginning to think that my own personal long term travel options have been dramatically curtailed so a vicarious experience is much appreciated. But not at the expense of your own health!!!
Whatever you do, you have to be safe. Personally, I love tours of pubs. Local food, local draught, and local music. Halifax is a great place for that. So is Charlottetown, St. Johns, Fredericton, and many, many more right there on the coast. But I won't watch videos from places with systemic human rights violations, and I won't stand for someone risking their health for my entertainment. Love and support from Mississauga Ont. I may be the only one, but I’m going to say it anyhow. Live your lives and be happy. There are always illnesses and that’s a gamble you take each and every day you step out of your house. Most have put their lives on hold for a year now. Travel within your comfort zones. There are many beautiful areas where you can explore outdoors- which you typically do anyhow. 🙂

There is so many great places on your doorstep do that for a while till things calm down. Do Cape Forchu and tie it in in the 'The Lighthouse' movie think it not to far away. Movie location vids get good hits and perhaps have fun with doing creative square format black and white pieces. I walked 5 mins from my house in London and found a community drama class where people who had acted in the 'The Crown' a big Netflix show. Don't underestimate what's local and how interesting people find it. Love the vid and the lamposts -great art on your doorstep !
My mouth was watering! The pizza looked so good. I would just do car trips in the area. You wouldn't want to get stuck somewhere. Also, I know about 15 people who officially had covid. Most recovered without hospitalization, although one of our elderly relatives with diabetes died from it. Another person who is very fit, in her ealy 60s with no health conditions got it. She didn't need to be hospitalized but now she has heart damage and may need to have a stint put in...from covid. You're young and healthy but if you can afford to stay home and be safe, please do. You just never know.
Please stay home. It’s the smartest & safest thing to do. This won’t be forever. As you know, much of Canada has numerous cases and many hospitals are overloaded or close to it. Just please stay home.
Nova Scotia, and or the maritimes if you feel comfortable , share your backyard we will watch, I'm staying local here in Montana and canceled winter trip so its always a pleasure to see other places vicariously....thanks and take care
Don’t take the chance. A friend of the family got engaged to get married this year, the couple went on a cruise to celebrate the engagement and on the way back he got sick, was in hospital intubated on Christmas Eve, a whole month, and this past Friday was buried. From Massachusetts. Stay safe.
Love your videos and enjoying the Nova Scotia content. Halifax has excellent eating venues and with the restaurants open, perhaps a few foodie videos would be interesting. As fellow Nova Scotia folks, we love to travel so feel your pain. We are staying put where we feel the safest and will travel again when we can.
Please stay in Nova Scotia. Your province is doing so well and there’s a tremendous amount to explore right at home where you are. There will be plenty of opportunity to travel internationally again in a year or perhaps even later towards the fall. Would love to see more of every corner of Nova Scotia!
Check out mcnabs island (you can rent a ferry), York redoubt, cape split, the Cape Breton highlands, small coastal communities like Lunenburg and Prospect, maybe go sailing? (When it warms up), and there are some lovely things going on in the Valley.
Hard as it is to stay home, it’s the best move at this time IMHO. We have had four cruises canceled including two to Europe. It stinks but better safe. Stay safe in your bubble and soon we can all travel. I’m feeling more confident that things will get better. Especially here in the U.S. 🙂
I wish I had taste-o- vision 😁. Great place. As for traveling.... Hard decision. 1: Just as a nurse, I would wait another month or so. 2: You also have to check carefully into your travel insurance & make sure you would be covered just incase. 3: As a person who has taken in all the responsibilities (and practice them) & information about Covid-19 & B117... I would feel comfortable traveling outside Canada. I would have masks with filters,hand sanitizers, gloves, Lysol spray for my destination, and my bags packed already if I could go😁
My vote would be for you to stay. You'll make awesome content wherever you are and it sounds like you're in one of the safest places to be. I think more Novia Scotia content would be well received, and I'd definitely watch it! We were in Nicaragua when the pandemic started and it was too difficult for us to get back home to Australia, so we stayed where we were. Being away from your home country during a pandemic comes with a lot of risks, including borders closing or restrictions being imposed which may make it more difficult or impossible for you to get home. If you do get sick then you would need to navigate a medical system that you aren't familiar with, possibly in a language you don't speak and you'd be competing for resources with locals. While it sounds like you'd try to avoid the areas that are more risky, the situation can change so quickly that it can be hard to know what areas will continue to be safe. You could realistically stay in NS for a number of years and never see everything! :)
I love traveling too...but It's probably better to stay home, because of all the stresses of covid. I would love to see more videos of Nova Scotia. Maybe you could do a walk around Halifax and maybe suggest the best pubs, restaurants,cafes,coffee shops My husband and I are looking to move to Halifax in a year and a half. Thanks a bunch😊
You can travel safely! I’ve been to Alaska, Hawaii, Florida, Georgia and more during covid. I get tested before and after, and it’s been great. We feel safe, and we are so so super careful. I just had my first dose of the vaccine!
First of all and let's not mess about here, that pizza looked great! I will have to try and recreate one myself. So to the big dilemma. Many on this platform have voiced there views one way or another and I can see it from both sides. (As you do of course). We can't choose for you even though you have asked us for our opinion. As you said Trevor, people are not viewing what you are filming in Nova Scotia as much compared to your travels elsewhere and this must of course concern you. Fortunately you have a great and loyal following (including me of course) that will always keep an eye out for you 'delightful' people. You'd like Southwest Nova. Digby, Annapolis Royal, and all of the small towns up the Annapolis Valley. Down the French Shore as they call it, straight to Yarmouth. Well worth the trip. Tip: Take the "Fundy Rose" from St. John New Brunswick. It's a two and a half hour cruise across the bay of Fundy , lets you off in Digby, and saves you many hours driving time.
I would advise to stay in Nova Scotia. Only essential travel is recommended. I live in Cape Breton and I have only been off the island twice in the last year. Believe me, I understand the want to go somewhere!!!!
Another great video. Would be nice if you had said exactly where this was . I know you said somewhere near Tantallon, but that wouldn't mean much to most people. Maybe a Google map showing it would do it.

just got back from Mexico, its totally fine, they are managing protocols etc very well. Yes we are in quarantine for 14 days but it was worth it to get 2 weeks of sunshine.

There is reclaimed wood which can be in any shape or form, and "live edge" wood, which is the bar and the shelves, which is the bark on the outer edge of the tree, left on for decoration. It could be reclaimed word as well.

Would love to see you travel throughout Canada. Maybe when the weather gets a bit warmer? Maybe meet up with some of the other Canadian TH-camrs? I recently got back from a trip to Arizona where we ate all of our meals outside and kept all of our activities outside. Lots of hiking. Brought snacks back to our rental and we always felt quite safe. Anyway, I will enjoy anything that you put on TH-cam! Would love to see Trevor polish off an entire dinner, on camera, someday!

If things get better, we plan to drive up to NS this summer. I’d love to see videos on Bay of Fundi, Dartmouth, Emera Oval, Yarmouth, and maybe your favorite breweries and places to eat lobster roll. I would probably stay put for obvious reasons but if you feel the need to travel, I suggest Kauai, Hi. I’ve read that if tourists don’t start showing up, a majority of businesses won’t make it. They are also in a bubble. They give you a wristband that tracks you and you must quarantine in a designated hotel for 3 days until you get a second negative test.

Used to work for a Toronto based company and you both bring back such great Canadian memories that my partner and I have got Nova Scotia high on our list when we feel safe to travel again. I’m an artist and sometimes when I have a creative block I will restrict myself to use certain colours in a piece as an exercise in creating. I have made some of my best pieces doing this. Don’t view this situation as a negative thing but more of a creative exercise. So far you’re both doing great!
Yes, would love more views of Nova Scotia. I’m beginning to think that my own personal long term travel options have been dramatically curtailed so a vicarious experience is much appreciated. But not at the expense of your own health!!!
Whatever you do, you have to be safe. Personally, I love tours of pubs. Local food, local draught, and local music. Halifax is a great place for that. So is Charlottetown, St. Johns, Fredericton, and many, many more right there on the coast. But I won't watch videos from places with systemic human rights violations, and I won't stand for someone risking their health for my entertainment. Love and support from Mississauga Ont. I may be the only one, but I’m going to say it anyhow. Live your lives and be happy. There are always illnesses and that’s a gamble you take each and every day you step out of your house. Most have put their lives on hold for a year now. Travel within your comfort zones. There are many beautiful areas where you can explore outdoors- which you typically do anyhow. 🙂
We think travelling responsibly / safely can be done for sure. We'd likely just spend more time outdoors on our own if we do venture somewhere 😀 - Trevor

Go to the southwestern shore - Chester, Lunenburg. Mahone Bay. Liverpool, Lockeport and Shelburne - beautiful
There is so many great places on your doorstep do that for a while till things calm down. Do Cape Forchu and tie it in in the 'The Lighthouse' movie think it not to far away. Movie location vids get good hits and perhaps have fun with doing creative square format black and white pieces. I walked 5 mins from my house in London and found a community drama class where people who had acted in the 'The Crown' a big Netflix show. Don't underestimate what's local and how interesting people find it. Love the vid and the lamposts -great art on your doorstep !

My mouth was watering! The pizza looked so good. I would just do car trips in the area. You wouldn't want to get stuck somewhere. Also, I know about 15 people who officially had covid. Most recovered without hospitalization, although one of our elderly relatives with diabetes died from it. Another person who is very fit, in her ealy 60s with no health conditions got it. She didn't need to be hospitalized but now she has heart damage and may need to have a stint put in...from covid. You're young and healthy but if you can afford to stay home and be safe, please do. You just never know.
Please stay home. It’s the smartest & safest thing to do. This won’t be forever. As you know, much of Canada has numerous cases and many hospitals are overloaded or close to it. Just please stay home.
Nova Scotia, and or the maritimes if you feel comfortable , share your backyard we will watch, I'm staying local here in Montana and canceled winter trip so its always a pleasure to see other places vicariously....thanks and take care
Don’t take the chance. A friend of the family got engaged to get married this year, the couple went on a cruise to celebrate the engagement and on the way back he got sick, was in hospital intubated on Christmas Eve, a whole month, and this past Friday was buried. From Massachusetts. Stay safe.
Love your videos and enjoying the Nova Scotia content. Halifax has excellent eating venues and with the restaurants open, perhaps a few foodie videos would be interesting. As fellow Nova Scotia folks, we love to travel so feel your pain. We are staying put where we feel the safest and will travel again when we can.

Please stay in Nova Scotia. Your province is doing so well and there’s a tremendous amount to explore right at home where you are. There will be plenty of opportunity to travel internationally again in a year or perhaps even later towards the fall. Would love to see more of every corner of Nova Scotia!

Check out mcnabs island (you can rent a ferry), York redoubt, cape split, the Cape Breton highlands, small coastal communities like Lunenburg and Prospect, maybe go sailing? (When it warms up), and there are some lovely things going on in the Valley.

Hard as it is to stay home, it’s the best move at this time IMHO. We have had four cruises canceled including two to Europe. It stinks but better safe. Stay safe in your bubble and soon we can all travel. I’m feeling more confident that things will get better. Especially here in the U.S. 🙂

I wish I had taste-o- vision 😁. Great place. As for traveling.... Hard decision. 1: Just as a nurse, I would wait another month or so. 2: You also have to check carefully into your travel insurance & make sure you would be covered just incase.
3: As a person who has taken in all the responsibilities (and practice them) & information about Covid-19 & B117... I would feel comfortable traveling outside Canada. I would have masks with filters,hand sanitizers, gloves, Lysol spray for my destination, and my bags packed already if I could go😁

My vote would be for you to stay. You'll make awesome content wherever you are and it sounds like you're in one of the safest places to be. I think more Novia Scotia content would be well received, and I'd definitely watch it!
We were in Nicaragua when the pandemic started and it was too difficult for us to get back home to Australia, so we stayed where we were. Being away from your home country during a pandemic comes with a lot of risks, including borders closing or restrictions being imposed which may make it more difficult or impossible for you to get home. If you do get sick then you would need to navigate a medical system that you aren't familiar with, possibly in a language you don't speak and you'd be competing for resources with locals. While it sounds like you'd try to avoid the areas that are more risky, the situation can change so quickly that it can be hard to know what areas will continue to be safe.
Hope these thoughts help with your decision making.

Personally being from Cape Breton, I Absolutely LOVE seeing all the wonderful things we have right in our own backyard, and sharing it with the world brings me (and I am sure many others) so much joy. You could realistically stay in NS for a number of years and never see everything! :)

I love traveling too...but It's probably better to stay home, because of all the stresses of covid. I would love to see more videos of Nova Scotia. Maybe you could do a walk around Halifax and maybe suggest the best pubs, restaurants,cafes,coffee shops My husband and I are looking to move to Halifax in a year and a half. Thanks a bunch😊

You can travel safely! I’ve been to Alaska, Hawaii, Florida, Georgia and more during covid. I get tested before and after, and it’s been great. We feel safe, and we are so so super careful. I just had my first dose of the vaccine!
We think it's possible to travel safely / responsibly as well. We'd just prefer the numbers were a little lower than they are at the moment - Anna
First of all and let's not mess about here, that pizza looked great! I will have to try and recreate one myself. So to the big dilemma. Many on this platform have voiced there views one way or another and I can see it from both sides. (As you do of course). We can't choose for you even though you have asked us for our opinion. As you said Trevor, people are not viewing what you are filming in Nova Scotia as much compared to your travels elsewhere and this must of course concern you. Fortunately you have a great and loyal following (including me of course) that will always keep an eye out for you 'delightful' people. You'd like Southwest Nova. Digby, Annapolis Royal, and all of the small towns up the Annapolis Valley. Down the French Shore as they call it, straight to Yarmouth. Well worth the trip. Tip: Take the "Fundy Rose" from St. John New Brunswick. It's a two and a half hour cruise across the bay of Fundy , lets you off in Digby, and saves you many hours driving time.
Show us Halifax. That'll fill a couple of months and I for one am curious about the city. That drone footage showed some REALLY big homes!

I would advise to stay in Nova Scotia. Only essential travel is recommended. I live in Cape Breton and I have only been off the island twice in the last year. Believe me, I understand the want to go somewhere!!!!
Another great video. Would be nice if you had said exactly where this was . I know you said somewhere near Tantallon, but that wouldn't mean much to most people. Maybe a Google map showing it would do it.

Loved this video! That tiny house is so cool. I would stay put in Novia Scotia for now and see how things work out with the vaccine and future cases. Currently, I feel that there is always risk when you travel.

Safely Stay at home. Have some patience. I really need to travel and I can’t. But I know it is coming soon if everyone else keeps to the protocol. There’s a sweet sugar shack up Dalhousie Mountain. I take my friends from afar there as a cool experience. There’s lots of unique places around here in Pictou Area
