Tree for the Taking Tree of Heaven Guitar Prototype Demo

This first of its kind prototype t-style guitar sports a tree-of-heaven composite semi-hollow body with a reclaimed knotted cedar cap that I pulled out of an old warehouse. The neck was made from a piece of mahogany decking salvaged from an actual deck, with a slab maple board that was once hardwood flooring. It is the first guitar I have ever made, and the most sustainable one I have ever played. It's both warm sounding, and very funky at the same time. Played through a Carr Sportsman mic'd with a Sennheiser e906 and a Neumann TLM 103 in the room, plus a bit of iPhone mic blended in. #sustainability #electricguitar #telecaster #startup

They could be! Lately all I’ve been focusing on is finalizing my new original design Sprig. However, I love a T style guitar and will make them again if people want them since I still have the molds and templates. The book-matched reclaimed wooden tops take much longer and are harder to source than my new aluminum ones, so it seemed at odds with my goal of making reasonably affordable instruments. Sure is pretty though…
